My experience with Maple Auto Body was a very positive. My car got hit in a parking lot at work just weeks after my Jeep was in an accident. So I was beyond stressed when my car was hit. I took my vehicle to Steve and he dealt with everything for me from including dealing with my insurance and getting me a rental with 30minutes of me being there. He really did ease my anxiety. My car looks like new, you would never know anything had happened with it. It was returned to me promptly and I honestly couldn't be happier. Mr. Guerra and his team took excellent care of my vehicle after a collision. They were able to get the vehicle to their shop, deal with insurance and returned it repaired and detailed within a short amount of time. Very disappointing experience dealing directly with owner Vito Guerra. Had my car at Maple Auto Body in September 2019. Asked them to look at three projects project 1 - we agreed to everything and they went ahead project 2 - very small job that they agreed to fix for free if they get my business for project 1 project 3 - bigger project and they would not provide estimate without taking off the bumper. I asked them to take off bumper so that I can get an estimate. Outcome: project 1: fixed as promised. project 3: they came up with an estimate twice the cost of another body shop. I declined to proceed with the repair. Vito demanded payment for "work already done" I had to remind him that as a professional he knows not to proceed with work until customer asks for it (this is the law in Ontario - it is OK to charge for an estimate, but you have to tell customer ahead of time how much the estimate will cost. Vito insisted that they provide free estimates throughout). project 2: Vito broke his promise to me and did not fix. Bottom line: I give them one star because they did do one fix.
