We are so grateful that we found Burbank Edu-Care preschool. They are a truly amazing preschool…read morewith excellent academic instruction, dedicated and experienced teachers, and a wonderfully supportive, loving environment. The director, Marie, has worked in childcare and preschool/kindergarten education for decades. We toured different preschools and Burbank Edu-Care stood out to us for multiple reasons. It's a small, intimate environment and the premises are beautiful. They have a garden on the preschool/kindergarten grounds and grow fruits & vegetables which they use to prepare healthy, organic lunches for the children. Lunch and potty training are both included in their very reasonable tuition fees. At other schools, lunch was a separate fee and potty training was an additional fee, or you could not enroll your child if they were not potty trained to begin with. The school has an adorable "parking" area where kids can park their tricycles and push cars in front of the school (behind a secure, gated campus). The private, high-fenced gate in front of the school ensures that strangers cannot see the children from the street and that the children are not in danger of street-based traffic. My 3-year-old child loves Ms. Marie and has so much fun learning and playing with the other children. They have plenty of opportunities for art, dance, music, and sound academic fundamentals like phonics, colors, shapes, etc. My child is completely safe at this school. I am also profoundly touched that Marie has taken a very special interest in our older, autistic child and has been so understanding of our unique childcare schedule. You can tell that she truly loves the children. For Ms. Marie, this is not just a job for her or a paycheck-this is her calling and she is uniquely gifted in her ability to connect with and lovingly care for your child. The school is fully licensed, very safe, it's small, intimate, and the kids are cared for with loving attention. Other schools for small children can feel chaotic or like your kid is a number in a larger setting, but that's not the case here. There is so much comfort in knowing that your child has found his or her community and niche. You don't have to worry about all the horror stories of inexperienced caregivers around your small child. TBH-my MIL was hesitant when I told her we would enroll our little one in preschool. She warned me that some kids find it too traumatic, and maybe she's safer at home (given what she's seen on the news, etc.). We are highly protective of our children. We feel confident we made a great decision choosing Burbank Edu-Care. Given the level of care/attention given to these children (plus potty training and healthy lunches included) -the tuition is very reasonable/affordable. If you tour and call other preschools and kindergartens that are in Burbank-Burbank Edu-Care's rates are very reasonable/affordable and they don't have the hidden fees (for lunches, potty training, additional hours for certain shifts, etc.) that some other programs charge. I highly recommend Burbank Edu-Care and am so grateful we found this amazing school! I can't gatekeep such a wonderful program when so many parents are seeking to find a safe, loving, supportive, and excellent preschool/kindergarten that builds on their child's strengths, gives them a sense of safety, care, and accomplishment, and lets them play with joy and creativity. Call Marie! She's awesome!

When my daughter was there, she learned to fully ready before she graduated. She was way beyond the other kids in her kinder class. They completely kept the kids engaged with learning, playing, music, arts and crafts. Their seasonal shows and end of year potlucks are so fun and they kids were always happy. They had it all. Miss Marie, the owner, is so kind. She really has put all her heart and soul and educational experience into this business. We will never forget her and her teachers.

I kept going back and forth if I should write a review about this school, after hearing more…read morecomplaints from more parents it motivated me to take the time and write. If you plan to send your child to an early Army school than stop reading if not keep going. This is a HORRIBLE school! I will not go into details but my child needed therapy from this school after I pulled her out. She was bullied and made fun of being a bigger girl. Her whole behavior changed at home, she also came home with new curse words in Spanish, she kept on telling me who it was, I kept on bringing it up to school they denied it. We have no connection with Spanish, as a retaliation they made up a story and took time to call CPS on us because we had a voice and concerns, after school district visiting her in the class it assured me that I was right, she definitely had some issues. She would cry everyday not wanting to go. I should have listened to her, I pulled her out and enrolled her into our home school, as weeks went by starting trusting school with so much support given to her and my concerns were heard, my child is back to being happy and now cries the day she doesn't have school. Always listen to your child, keep records. There is so much more to say but I rather not. It's sad we are forced to put our children in school because we need to go to work trusting these people our children. This school is bad news, it's not a perfect fit for everyone. No holiday celebrations of any, no happiness, no celebration on anything, extremely strict, oh and the best one is them constantly mentioning the safety of your child making it sound as we are careless, don't care about our children as much as they do, they lecture you as if you are an idiot and they know it all and you know nothing, they lie to cover their own mistakes to make you look like the bad guy and they are so innocent, they cover for each others even when I complained to the upper hand, and to top it off they make you do surveys with your name on it where you can't secretly complain worrying about retaliation against your child. Writing this does not give me justice for what my child went through there! Do your research and good luck!

Each week we get to hear about all the activities and things the kids did. if they aren't learning letters or numbers they are outside playing and playing and playing some more. Our oldest started kindergarten and is in the more developed class, the learning that took place while at preschool really helped him be prepared. I cant thank the teachers enough for what they have done for our kids and I would recommend this preschool to anyone.

When my daughters turned two and we started looking for a preschool it was extremely difficult to find a school thad had two opening until I contacted La Habra United Methodist Pre-school. Sandy was absolutely wonderful she meet with my husband and I to personally give us a tour, let my girls come and check out the school and meet her before their start date in January of 2020. Every was going great and then COVID hit and the school had to close (just like everything else). During their closure Sandy kept all the parents informed on when they hoped to reopen. When they finally did get the go ahead to reopen my twins return to school, but during that time we had started potty training we were fairly successful but in the first week of their return all accidents stopped! The teachers help get them to that next level that we were struggling with on the potty training but there is more. They have brought out their individuality. I couldn't have asked for a better preschool to take my daughters. I highly recommend this school.
