We have been an Outer limits family for almost two years and loved this facility when we first…read morestarted. Now under the new director and assistant directors' leadership, our feelings towards this daycare have changed. Outer Limits used to be a warm welcoming place with caring teachers (which they still have) where someone was always at the front desk to greet you and knew you and your children by name. Now, it is quite the opposite. Not only do they not prioritize knowing your name, there is almost always an empty front desk when parents arrive, especially in the mornings. Safety has also been an issue recently as a result of this new management. For example, we had a family member do pick-up/drop-off for four days and hardly ever saw anyone, and when they did, they were never questioned who they were, who they were there to pickup, or ever asked for identification. The management is distant and aloof of who is coming in or out. Over the past few months, there has been a large amount of staff turnover and it's became very apparent as many of these staff members had been there for years. People talk and the talk is, the staff turnover is directly related to poor management. My family as well as many other families, have left because of the new management's lack of initiation, implementation and overall feeling of caring. Their lack of continuing/creating a welcoming and safe daycare is unacceptable. I decided to give the two weeks notice for withdrawing my child, because I was unhappy with all of the changes. Three days after I gave my notice, I received a call after business hours stating that my child was biting and was not allowed to come back for the rest of the week. On this very day, when I picked my child, the assistant director never addressed this issue, in fact it was one of the rare times a goodbye and a goodnight was offered. I attempted to call back within minutes, though no answer, and was unable to leave a voicemail because the mailbox was full. This is the type of unprofessionalism and poor communication, which is now a common occurrence at Outer Limits. We've had another child attend Outer Limits that aged out, and we loved our experience with previous management and staff. But unfortunately now, the atmosphere and how it is managed is far below any parent's expectations or tolerance.

My child built a great relationship with all of them and it was clear he was learning and growing under their care. About 6 months ago they started using an app and I received regular updates and photos about how the day was going - loved this! The prior directors, Jessica and Anissa, and the current director, Misty, have all been great and have happily answered any question I had or engaged in a conversation if I had any concerns. Our childcare needs have changed now, but if we need a daycare again, OST will be at the top of our list for both care and value.

She has no concern for your child's or your concerns. I have three children that were all going there (10, 7, 2 years old). I had to move my two year old to another daycare due to him getting bitten and scratched constantly. I understand when you have a toddler things are bound to happen at daycare. My concern is when I brought this to Gianna's attention about the safety and reporting and consequences of behavior it was brushed off, like it wasn't that big of a deal. Every single week he was enrolled here he had one to three ouch reports sent home EVERY WEEK! The teacher Natasha was very nurturing and made sure to give my son tlc when this happened and was VERY transparent about all of the situations, she was able to explain what happened what she was able to do about it, but when I went to the director.... Uhg let's just say it didn't matter. I have never felt so disrespected by a care giver in my life! I had to speak with her a few times about this and every single time it wasn't as big of a deal as I was making it out to be. One time I had my 7 year old in the office with me and I was holding his hand talking to her about my concerns for my 2 year old and she literally got in my face and was extremely Rude and saying we can't do anything for your child since it's not the same child that has bit him... she then proceeded to say that if you feel your child is unsafe you should remove him from the program. Responsibility and accountability was always evaded with Gianna... instead of trying to fix the problem she would say well we can't separate the kids... well then maybe we should address biting... granted kids bite because they can't speak their frustrations... so as a director of the daycare what do we do about biting!? Her response was all we can do is separate them for that day and call the parents of the child that bit... okay... well on one side that makes sense but for my child to be bitten pretty much 5 weeks or so in a row by "different" kids hm... something needs to be addressed obviously! I got to a point where I didn't even feel comfortable talking to the director anymore. She seriously does not care about anything... the way that she speaks to children is absolutely ludicrous saying "get out of my face, you are a child you don't get to ask questions" talk about emotional abuse! I have so much going on in my life that I don't need a daycare that has a five star rating, I'm supposed to trust, to have no care in the world! Honestly, I just don't get it! Thankfully the regional director got involved and it will be handled accordingly. I still don't feel comfortable having conversations with the director though! I will go to the co director or the teachers before I talk to Gianna.. this was my first time putting my children in daycare because I've been a stay at home mom for ten years. This is why I would rather stay at home with my children because of stuff like this. I just want to let everyone know my situation because I don't want you to go in there blindly. If they got rid of Gianna I would probably put my 2 year old back into the school but knowing Gianna doesn't care much about children and the concerns for occurrences like this, I can't. Also, the bulling of her own staff is sad. The way that she tries to scare the people that work for her because SHE got in trouble is beyond me. Our experience was extremely disappointing. The school advertises the Carden teaching method, but I found the curriculum difficult to understand, and I watched several kindergarten students struggle with the way they were being taught. Weekly spelling lists contained only a few words with very little practice or reinforcement, and the words were rarely used in sentences to help children understand them. Instead of helping students succeed, the teaching methods left many children confused. I also witnessed a teacher grab a child roughly by the arm. I was so concerned that I found the child's parent and told them what I had seen. My grandchild once forgot his water bottle and was told to drink water from the bathroom sink instead of being offered another solution. What concerns me most is student safety and privacy. Personal information about my grandchild was shared with someone who was not authorized on the pickup or contact list. That is a serious breach of trust. Parents pay a substantial amount of tuition expecting quality education, professionalism, and a safe environment. Based on our experience, we did not receive that. I also find it concerning that I have been unable to locate a public place to leave a review of this school. I hope other parents will carefully research the school, ask detailed questions about its curriculum, student safety procedures, and privacy practices before making the decision to enroll their children. This was our family's experience, and I believe other parents deserve to hear it when making an important decision about their child's education.

When I took my child that was clingy to me at drop off (he was so use to being home with me for first few years of his life--he had hard time adjusting to being elsewhere) the front desk girl was AMAZING! He quickly attached to this girl as she was able to get him distracted--soon, the tears became a thing of the past at drop off time! Every teacher each one of my kids had there were outstanding! Patient, caring, and fun! They made sure each and every child felt appreciated and loved while in their care. The owners of this location are easily approachable if you have questions, concerns, compliments or just simply want to check in. The school communicates very well with the parents. The kids are kept busy from the time they get there till the time they leave. The teachers have a clear planned schedule so the families always know what is happening that week. The teachers are all trained, have CPR/First Aid card, and background checks. I have tried many different daycares over the years--this one --hands down--is the only one I would recommend!

I removed my child from Wright Brothers due to a concerning incident involving my child. The photo was taken in .5 to distort my child's face and made into a meme, stating "POV I'm left at day care all day." Five administrators sent a laughing response to the photo. For context, this photograph was taken at 4:30 p.m. during normal working hours when I trusted the day care to treat my child with respect and empathy while I worked to provide for him. My child was clearly in distress in the photograph; however, instead of treating my child with care or compassion, the staff at Wright Brothers chose to treat both myself and my child with mocking cruelty. The staff clearly felt no fear of repercussion as the administration was included on the chat and, in fact, laughed at the image. This exemplifies that the culture at Wright Brothers does not give respect to the children or the parents who are trusting them with their children while they work.
