First of all, I used Mansfield Glass twice so far. The first time was several years ago-on our former home we had a screened in patio attached to our home but wanted storm windows as well as screens so we could enjoy the patio in all seasons. We called a lot of companies but none of them did that kind of job. I gave up trying but one day on my way to Mansfield from Crowley I saw a business called Mansfield Glass. I went home and looked them up and called them to explain what I needed. They came right out and laser measured the patio and the glass windows and said they could solve our problem and within a few weeks we had brand new sliding storm windows and screens that fit like a glove! We were thrilled! That upgrade also increased the value of our home when we sold it a few years later. So recently I decided I wanted a frameless shower door on our new home as I didn't like the one I had. So of course I called Mansfield Glass because of what a great job they did on my former home. My new shower door is gorgeous! What an upgrade! It is so much nicer than what I had! And they also disposed of that ugly shower door they removed! I attached pics of my new shower door. I broke my vintage mirror I love and needed a unique cut for it to be re made and I needed it the next day for an event , I came in 30 minutes before they closed kind of frantic and they called me the next morning at 8 am and they had it ready for me. This USED to be a good company. NOT ANYMORE. Their new management allows sloppy work, blames you for it because "you asked for it to be that way" and then gives you the 100 reasons it's not their fault. When I got another company to repair what they has installed wrong, they agreed to pay for it. When the owner came to give me the check, he first whined about how unfair it was and then gave me a check that was $50 less than the agreed amount. I have used Mansfield Glass & Mirror many times and I have always been pleased. However, my last experience was extremely memorable. I measured two areas for glass shelves and my measurement were off. They were extremely kind to help me get the glass size corrected. As I loaded my re-cut glass shelves a large framed picture fell out of my car and broke (ever had one of those days?) The wonderful young lady that had been helping me picked up the frame and said, "We will get this fixed for you." Worst excuse for a contractor. Owner came out to our facility and was a dismissive individual who was not interested in requoting a job we had them quote 5 months earlier we delayed due to COVID. Always try to support local contractors and businesses but in this case please avoid this one. There's not a grade for negative stars. read more

"Not good" is an understatement....integrity and honesty don't bode well for this company. They installed a new window at my house, left on vacation, came back and it was cracked in the exact same place. They either don't know what they're doing or a new guy installed it. They came and looked at it and said someone hit it. NO ONE WAS HOME!!!! It's a rear facing window with a sunshade. Ridiculous excuse for a company...shame on me for supporting local business, next time I guess I have to go with a reputable chain. Maybe they'll have integrity and honesty.
