This place is absolutely DISGUSTING. I had to come to wash laundry while on a two week vacation as…read morethe washer is not available at our air b&b. The floors are filthy. The washers are old, broken and the outsides of them appear to not have been cleaned since this place opened. The public areas are not tidy or organized. A desk with a rotting chair and shelves with someone's messy hoard. I can't say that I'm not worried that I'll walk away with bedbugs or some other issue from this place. I'm so skeeved out and annoyed to have to spend any amount of time from my vacation in this dump. So vile. No attendant on site. After I loaded 6 loads of laundry (three loads of towels) into the dryers. I put about $15 in quarters into the dryers. Not one of the dryers had heat. I had to load everything into bags and go to a different laundromat to dry everything. Needless to say, I have lost half a day of vacation to this and I'm out $15. If you need to do laundry...head over to Jack's Scrub board! It's clean, bright, nice people who work there and everything works.

We went in and the woman who works there was BEYOND helpful. First off, she came to the door when she saw me trying to bring the comforter in and she opened the door for me. She told me what machine to use and how to use it. She even said she would take care of it for us, washing and drying and we could go next door to the restaurant while it was being done. Hell ya, I'm down with that. I gave her $8 in ones for both washing and drying and we came back over an hour later and the comforter needed more time to dry so I got a chance to talk to this woman who I found out her name was Karen. I asked her "do you own this place" and she said no. I told her, you would think you do because you are so kind and so helpful. I mean beyond helpful, it's just so no 2020, it's more like 1920's helpful which is so nice during these challenging times. If you are the owner of this establishment and you read this review, please make sure you take care of your employee Karen as she is amazing. I wish I owned a business because I might steal her from you to work for me!! She is literally one in a million!

You have to pay a $1.00 for a card (the dollar is added to your balance) and the card may or may not work. The employees are hit or miss, not too helpful. I also think that the hot water on the washing machine is NOT hot! I've put my hand on the door and its lukewarm. I stopped bringing my laundry here, too expensive for lukewarm machines and costly dryers.

On top of that, there were obvious new stitches added that hadn't been there before, and they didn't even remotely match the fabric or color of the knit. When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. The washer didn't appear to fill up with much water or dispense much, if any, detergent. I wash in cold and dry on low, always. After drying for 72 minutes the clothes were almost as wet as when they were put in. I raised the temp and left it in for 40 more minutes. Clothes were dry. When folding them I noticed spots all over our shirts and pants! I now have to pretreat, wash and dry all the laundry again at a different location. The lady next to me had spots on her clothes too!
