UPDATE #3 -- September 1, 2026: Back to 1 Star Unfortunately, I am changing my review back to one star. I previously updated to five stars because Gutter General returned, addressed our concerns, and appeared committed to making things right. Unfortunately, new issues have changed our experience completely. About two weeks ago, we reported that the underdecking was leaking. No one has come out to inspect it. More seriously, during the original installation, a Gutter General worker removed support components beneath part of our existing deck. We have since been told he is no longer with the company. Yesterday, we discovered that the deck above that area had dropped/caved in and visibly separated. We contacted Gutter General immediately because we consider this a serious safety concern. We still have not received a response, visit, or plan for inspection. We were also expecting house guests for the holiday weekend and planned to use this outdoor space. Those plans are now disrupted because we do not feel comfortable using the deck until it is properly evaluated. Regardless of whether the original installer still works for the company, he was performing work on behalf of Gutter General. We expect the company to stand behind that work. I will update this review again if they respond promptly, inspect the deck, address the leak, and resolve any damage determined to be related to their installation. At this time, I cannot recommend Gutter General. --- UPDATE #2 -- August 11, 2026: They Made It Right I was happy to change my original one-star review to five stars after Gutter General communicated with us, addressed our concerns, and completed the project. They transformed our patio into a beautiful, comfortable, dry outdoor space, returned to inspect a minor concern, and even accommodated a lighting change. Our experience did not start well, but at that time they made the effort to correct it, and we appreciated their responsiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction. --- UPDATE -- August 1, 2026 Our project began with a no-show and no call. The following day, one worker arrived around 11 AM for a few hours and left heavy equipment, tools, a ladder, nails, and sharp metal pieces behind. We had to clean the area ourselves before letting our dogs outside. We had been told this was a one-day job, but it was not completed that day. Our initial experience was extremely disappointing. I believe customer experience matters, and when something goes wrong, the best response is to fix the problem and communicate clearly.

A couple of days ago, my husband heard rattling outside his office window. He got outside in time to see a squirrel squeeze out from between the gutter guards. Turned out there was a 3 inch gap between the gutter guards and the nearby wall that allowed the squirrel and a bunch of leaves into the gutter. The edge of that guard was perfectly straight showing that it was human-cut and not creature-chewed. Given that the guard is literally screwed onto the gutter, it clearly did not shift over by itself When I let the owner of Gutter Bro know and provided the pictures, he tried to blame it on everything but workmanship and wanted me to pay for their trip out to address it. After I pointed out the straight edge, he stopped responding, no doubt hoping that I would go away. I recommend that you think hard before investing any major dollars with this company. And you might want to climb a ladder yourself to check their work before payment and not rely on their pictures.
