I'm really disappointed to be updating my original 5-star review, because my first experience with…read morethis company was fantastic which is exactly why I booked them again. Unfortunately, this second visit was extremely frustrating. I was quoted $199 for cleaning my couch and ottoman after sending photos. On the day of the appointment, the technician showed up late and at the wrong address, even though I had clearly mentioned I had a meeting at 9am. That already threw off my morning. I also had a very small carpet stain nearby maybe 5" x 5" and asked if he could do a quick clean on it. I was surprised to be charged $25 for something that took almost no time. Then, once he was already inside my home with all his equipment set up, he told me the quote would actually be $253, not the $199 I had been given. At that point I felt completely stuck. I hadn't budgeted for that kind of jump, and it honestly left a really sour taste in my mouth. The technician himself was polite, but the experience overall felt misleading and left me out of pocket. After such a great first experience, this was really disappointing.

With the bigger companies you may get the "good" guy or perhaps not. I called David late on a Friday and he was able to make it to my house the next morning (Saturday) at 9AM. He did a great job doing my three bedrooms, living room couch, and two area rugs. His prices are very reasonable and he was on time, personable, and thorough. I will definitely be using Aztec Carpet Cleaning again. Thanks for the great job David!

It definitely needed a good deep clean before I felt comfortable using it myself, and I began my search for someone who could do so! I really liked the price quoted, plus how easy it was to communicate with Jeremy, who was very responsive and a clear, friendly communicator. I had no idea how couch cleaning worked, and he explained a but of the process -- I was super happy with how it turned out after Jeremy cleaned it! 2 years, some spilled salsa, and 2 cats later, I asked Jeremy to come out again to clean my couch, plus a small rug I had acquired. He once again did a great job! I want to also note that as a person who lives alone and who is not a man, having a man at my apartment who I do not know can feel intimidating/makes me nervous. I didn't experience that at all with Jeremy! He is very professional and very kind. I'll definitely continue to use his business!

Over time, the carpeting was looking dirty and I was intrigued specifically by for a cleaning process that was green-focused and would be safe for our dog, a shmoodle. I found Green Coast Carpet Care thru YELP reviews and the absolute enthusiasm for Alex as both owner and the quality of his work motivated me to reach out to him and ask for a quote. Within 2 mins of my outreach by text message, I had a firm date/time and price On the day before the scheduled appointment, Alex texted with a note, confirming that he would be there the next day at the time committed. He further shared "I'll text you a 1/2 hour heads up text" and he did the next day. Alex did a great job of set-up and he used these unique corner protectors for our doors and walls to ensure the hose didn't leave any mark on the walls or door trim. And his work on the carpets were/are AMAZING!! They look great after 3 years of wear and dirt from the bottoms of feet. Also, the suction of the dirty water after the cleaning process left our bedroom carpets only slightly damp and within ~ 5 hours, the carpets were dry. Alex is really an extremely wonderful, kind and interesting person. Ironicly, Alex's family name, Pettai, is unique and I shared with him that one of my very good friends had a last name, Pettai and was from Estonia and SURPRISE, Alex's family has ties to Estonia and the two families may be connected. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALEX FOR CARPET CLEANING WORK! When it's time to have our carpets cleaned again - we will contact Alex!!

I just moved to San Diego and spent a good amount of time looking for a really good professional…read morewho specializes in cleaning wool area rugs. I inherited this rug and want to take good care of it but also don't want to spend a huge chunk of money every year cleaning it - and yes, it has to be cleaned every year because it gets so gross. I ended up going with SD Rug Cleaning because when I asked the method they use to clean it, I could tell they knew what they were doing. The price was also the best of all the quotes I got. I wish I had taken a before picture. It was disgusting. My dog had defiled it, my kids got it filthy, all because I (regrettably) put it in a high-traffic area. When I got it back, it smelled amazing, the once-trashed fringe was trimmed and cleaned, and the rug was plush and gorgeous. If you value your expensive rugs, don't go anywhere else - this is the place. Of all the specialty places I've taken my rug in all of the cities I've lived in, they did a better job than any other place.

Gentle giants! My…read morefirst impression of Gerry was that he was professional and consistent via our initial phone calls and texts. Then my first physical impression of Gerry and his son upon their arrival was their stature. Big strong dudes--which meant I knew they wouldn't have a problem moving the single piece of furniture we had on the floor of the home we just purchased. (They happily did it.) But it was immediately obvious how kind, polite and gentle they were. For example, Gerry's son asked my permission before filling a small tank with water; he does not assume what a home owner is ok or not ok with. I was nearby during the job, so Gerry took the liberty of proactively pointing things out to me and offering suggestions for ways I could keep my floors looking good myself, as he noticed based on what I was doing while he was working that was I am the DYI type. No cost advice, and enjoyable conversation! The job was completely in a timely manner, and my floor (four different surface types!) looks and feels terrific. I will definitely hire Preferred again in the future, and I recommend Gerry to sons to others as well.
