First he stopped…read moremy divorce on the email of my abusive husband (though I was a plaintiff and the client), then he refused to provide me with an index number for filing the case, then he failed to notify either party about the conclusion of the divorce - divorce was finalized on October 16, 2019, this "attorney" replied that I was divorced only when I contacted him 5th time in late December 2019. Mind you, in late October and early November he replied to me and my ex's phone inquiries by telling case was still in process and there hadn't been any updates as of yet. I lost money and time on this, this guy is a joke and had to be disbarred for disclosing client attorney info to a third party (my abusive ex) and stopping the divorce without my consent or knowledge, then for failing to notify about conclusion of the case - over 2,5 months passed since divorce was completed and this guy didn't bother to let anyone know, and then lashed out at me in an aggressive manner over emails blaming me for not following up with him. Though both I and my ex followed him with him numerous times. Never did he or his staff apologize for mishandling the case - they always lashed out in the emails and blamed me for "not following up". Colbert gave me the nightmarish experience by mishandling every possible aspect of the otherwise simple uncontested divorce case. Do not recommend him to anyone.

I wanted to dismiss services various times. There was no communication, and it was all about being DRIVEN by MONEY, and making more. My time sensitive paperwork was ignored, and at times I didn't know about my court dates. At the end of it all I dismissed services after I came to find out that the court sent information stating things that were not done correctly or that weren't done at all in my divorce paperwork. It was ignored for months! I finished my divorce papers on my own, which probably would have cost me another couple of thousand if I didn't look into the issue and never found out that my paperwork was neglected.
