Today morning (Oct 19, 2024), around 8:10 AM I tried to get a coffee at this place. The guy in the front said that I can be seated only if I have a reservation. The whole cafe was EMPTY! It was raining and I walked down to a different cafe. As I was walking back, I noticed he was letting other customers without reservations. When I confronted him about racial bias/profiling, he flat out lied to me stating that there were cancellations. Really in 10 mins in an empty cafe? I have never experienced racial profiling in Portugal and this is just shameful! Please be careful about this place. I hope he teaches his children differently and they grow up to be better humans. read more

Begin here, before trying elsewhere. For brunch or breakfast, Nola and Manna were both recommended to us. We made the mistake of trying Nola first (It wasn't bad, just very average.). Manna is a completely different enterprise. Very elevated ingredients and taste. It's for a more discerning palate, someone who takes both health and food quality seriously. The food is light and simple, smaller portions than Noshi or Nola, but delicious and perfect. It's also the first cup of good coffee I had, and I've been here a week. Design aesthetics, gift items, and service are also excellent. I'll be here again tomorrow. read more
