Strawberry yogurt crepe with chocolate sauce and Oreos
    Nida H.

Busy establishment means it must be good!! You order on a computer kiosk and wait for your order. We had the "design your own" crepe which included strawberries and raspberries, whipped yogurt, Oreos, and chocolate sauce. We loved it!! They don't over do the filling so it's not oozing out and it's not overly sweet. It was the perfect proportion of filling--easy to eat and not messy at all. I can't wait to come back and try their savory options.

I was walking around the plaza when I wanted a snack with my boyfriend and so I went to Eight Turn crepe. I've heard of this place before but never stopped by and I'm so glad I did! When you enter, they don't have counter service- there's 2 kiosk in the back of the shop to order what you'd like which isn't too bad but I personally enjoy the in-person interaction. They had 3-4 people making crepes in the window so you can watch them bake and fill the crepes as the orders come in! I ordered a strawberry and banana crepe with some chocolate which was delicious! The crepe was very light and airy, and filled with so much cream it was spilling out. I definitely want to come back to try their savory crepes and other sweet ones. The price is not bad for what you get and I'd say after you order, it takes about 10 minutes to get your food only because it is coming out fresh. If you don't like to wait- then I would recommend coming at a non-busy time.

Cute place for food and drinks! I'm loving this little shop as a productive lunch time location! And I haven't even gotten my orders yet...the cashier/ person a that helped me choose my crepe was friendly and has beautiful pink & purple hair. Definitely a talent and better customer service than the lady that helped me at the shop across the freeway that I just got my drinks at. Instead of that boba shop this will be my choice to go to for now when I'm looking for both food and drinks. Love that they also have a water jug for customers!

Got in just before they closed. Service was nice and friendly. The food we ordered was warm and tasty. Great flavors in the items we ordered.

Loved this place!! Delicate light crepes made very well and doesn't fall apart as you eat it. Also doesn't feel too heavy after eating it. You can create your own crepe as well, and they have plenty of options to choose from!

    Delicious gelato with unicorn flakes

Adorable atmosphere! Everyone needs unicorn flakes to end a weird week yes?! So hey I am down with trying new so here we go Yelpies!!! I walked in to this adorable place needing a sugar fix. The service was fantastic, ice cream delicious! Unfortunately I am no longer in Texas or a Yelp elite after four great years so all reviews will be 4 or below.

You get what you see from the window display. If I was craving a crepe, I would come back. Plenty of seats. Good customer service. Efficient system.

Stopped by here because we were craving dessert and it looked good! Got the matcha chocolate crepe with mango gelato on the side! The chocolate just melts in your mouth and the crepe is delightfully warm. Definitely a great dessert after having a meal in Katy Asian Town.

    Banana nutella crepe cone.
    Lewis H.

My wife loves this place. They roll up the crepes like an ice cream cones, with a variety of toppings. The crepes are thicker than French crepes, more like Japanese pancakes, but still pretty good. Fast service and pleasant ambiance.

A few orders before me, but the wait is longer than usual. However, it was well worth it. The crepes are delicious.

I got the Tokyo Pork Belly and Azuki Berries to try for my first time here. Definitely wouldn't recommend getting both savory and sweet, because I left with my stomach feeling like it'd burst. I didn't see nor taste any kimchi in my TPB crepe, which is a bummer bc that was one of the main reasons why I'd ordered it. I think they ran out because instead, I had eggs in mine. Either way, would have appreciated if they had let me know ahead of time. They've also put in nước tương (vietnamese soybean sauce) instead of Japanese mayo...which I didn't think went too well with the meat and plus it kept dripping out of the crepe. The pork belly was delicious though. Azuki Berries crepe was great. I really enjoyed the matcha gelato. It wasn't too sweet or had a bitter aftertaste. Price definitely went up, because the receipt came out different from what the paper menu and digital menu lists. Don't know if I'd come back because the price is a bit high for my liking, but overall I did enjoy the food.

Wholly Crepe!! Russian Bistro - Tomball…read more What does authentic Russian hospitality look like? It looks less like a restaurant and more like a small doorway into someone's home -- a place where food is not rushed, and conversation is part of the meal. EXTERIOR: At first glance the building is modest, almost shy. A few outdoor seats, a quiet frontage, and public parking just around the corner. The kind of place you could easily pass -- and shouldn't. INTERIOR: Once you go up the steps, open the door, and the Northwest Houston surroundings fall away. The room feels lifted from a Russian village house, ( ): warm wood floors, wooden window frames, and intimate spacing. If you've ever been to Russia or watched any of the Russian movies or cartoons, this space will be familiar. Four tables and sixteen chairs, sit to the left; to the right, a narrow staircase evokes a country dacha, (). Larger tables gather families together, even a few small chairs waiting for children. Main room offers unique, (in glass shelves) Lomonosov Porcelain 1744 dishes, from St. Petersburg. As well as, carved wooden dishes, hand-painted details. Ask Mila and Bill for details. RUSSIAN HOSPITALITY: Arriving shortly after opening, Bill greeted me with a smile. Conversation came naturally and without agenda, as if we've known each other a long time. Mila, came out shortly after from the kitchen and I was able to converse with her in Russian and English. Both shared their meet story and how they decided to start this adorable business, May 2015. The story feels better heard from them directly. I set down to look at their abundant menu options. Meals here require patience. Many dishes are prepared from scratch. Part of Russian Hospitality is to welcome you in to their home, sit you down, spike up a genuine conversation and make a delicious home cooked meal. The rhythm slows; the outside schedule becomes irrelevant. I decided to order four of their popular dishes; #7 Tvorog Crepe, #24 Smoked Salmon Crepe, Siberian Pelmeni Bowl, and Cheburek. Let's go over each dish briefly. Gordon Ramsay once said - The way to know when something is cooked from scratch or microwaved is by the amount of steam or sizzling coming from the plate. #7 Tvorog Crepe - $12 Homemade Ricotta Cheese, Choice of Berries, Condensed Milk or Honey. I ordered mine with mixed berries, white powder and condensed milk. Something about taking each bite dipped in condensed milk with all the toppings makes your taste buds dance. Generous portions. #24 Smoked Salmon Crepe - $16 Tvorog Cheese, Salmon, Cherry Tomato, Green Onion, Salted Dill. As someone that adores a good salmon dish, clean flavors and a proper texture contrast -- delicate fish against warm crepe. The pairing works and generous portion. Siberian Pelmeni Bowl (24ct) - $17 Handmade dumplings in butter with your choice of dipping sauce. True Russian Hospitality - dish ware presentation along with the cuisine. The three-layered, brown color bowl looked presentable. Pelmeni looked freshly made and the steam coming from the bowl would make Gordon Ramsay smile. A slightly meatier filling would improve the ratio, but the flavor remains familiar and nostalgic. Cheburek - $9.50 Handmade Fried Meat Pie filled with Ground Beef & Onion. Served with your choice of dipping sauce. Good presentation and the taste was a good pairing combination with sour cream. Exterior texture was crispy, while the interior was soft. A fuller filling would strengthen it. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: While photographing the dishes, some cooled before I could eat them. Mila noticed and worried -- a small moment can be explained. If you've been around a Russian woman, you know they want nothing but the best for you when it comes to food. Wholly Crepe!! Offers some of the most unique and delicious cuisines for those who crave something different. Everything is made to order, from scratch, in small batches preserving authenticity and flavor. Come prepared to pause. The reward is a meal that feels cooked for you, not merely served to you.

The good: cute decor (there's a display case full of tea sets), and food flavors were fine (but…read morenothing to write home about). The bad: My first big gripe is the water. There's an expectation that in the US, tap water is free. Places that only have bottles typically will say, "We have bottled water; is that okay?" if you order water. This place didn't. They just brought out bottles. They're charging $2 each. Portion sizes are very small for what you're paying, and for the actual cost of the ingredients. My crepe was essentially a light snack for $14. Family friendliness is mixed. They're welcoming of kids, but there is no kids menu, and no changing table in the restroom. There's also only one customer restroom, so you're screwed if someone has to be in there for a while. The weird: The music did not match the theme or ambiance. Clearly they are trying to appeal to their customer base's favorite music by playing country hits, which felt a little out-of place. Like many other business in Old Town Tomball, this restaurant is in a converted house. You have to park in back but walk around to the front. Conclusion: If you live crepes or are looking specifically for Russian food, it's worth a try, but I'm not in any hurry to return.

Arriving around lunchtime on a weekday, I had the place to myself which allowed me a unique opportunity to take the place in. That being said, this spot is not overly French cafe themed, but instead a classic suburban strip mall spot with nods to the French peppered throughout the menu and decor. The booth area is well-designed, the spot was clean and the table touched by light so after a great experience chatting with the cashier I was crossing my fingers, hoping the food matched the vibe. I had a crepe Mexicana (because who has ever heard of that?!), a croque monsieur with tomato soup, and a dessert crepe because y'all know I always save room for dessert. It took a minute to be prepared, but I'm willing to wait for a fresh made meal. Everything, was delicious. Crepe texture was on point, and each crepe was stuffed to the Gods. Positive experience all around. My tip: Order the tomato soup and finish your meal with the following combo- a dessert Crepe Almonds with strawberries. Trust me on that one!

As it is located in Sugar Land Town Square, there is complimentary garage parking (a huge plus) amongst paid storefront area parking. The casual, order at counter concept is wonderfully executed as those placing an order at the counter will receive a number placard to place on any table of their choice so that food and specialty drinks can be delivered. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed, and welcoming despite a higher noise level that's prominent on the weekends. They serve crepes that are sweet or savory, from breakfast style crepes to super hearty lunch/dinner-worthy ones. My go-to is The Houstonian (mozzarella, bacon, sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, fresh jalapeños) when I go for breakfast/brunch, the Nordic (smoked salmon, dill sour cream, capers, scallions, pickled red onions, lemon) or the Chicken Carbonara (grilled chicken, mozzarella, bacon, parmesan, and cream sauce) when I'm having lunch or dinner. Of course, you can devour a sweet crepe any time and not just for dessert! I love the Apple Cinnamom Creme Brulee and the Dulce de Leche or Nutella with mixed fruit. The options are endless whether you're craving something sweet or savory. While I can't say that the crepes are authentically French, they are delicious in their way. The drinks are aplenty as well, including your typical fountain drink selection, hot cocoa, teas, lattes, milkshakes, and beer, wine, and cocktails. It's a good time with family or friends in a non-pretentious atmosphere. They are busy particularly on the weekends but the orders come out in a reasonable time frame from order to table.
