Made the drive to Mann Creek Store and Restaurant tonight! Wow! The food was amazing and the service was excellent! Go and support local! Husband had tri-tip ( yum! ) and roasted red potatoes (omg!) and my burger I ate too fast to take pictures! It was a double stack with crispy bacon and when I cut it, juices just poured out! Absolutely the BEST! Tri tip is to die for! Best food in the Weiser area, but seriously it's worth a drive from Boise, its that good!! First time stopping since new owners took over. Having come thru the area for over 40 years, this place has had many different food experiences. It seems to be a family run restaurant. The food was ok but lacked noteworthiness. The smoked tritip had no taste of smoke whatsoever. Sides were limited, mostly food service items like fries and tots. Freshness was lacking but we left less hungry than when we came. If you are looking for average restaurant food, this place will satisfy you. read more

Stopped in for lunch and split a gourmet burger and a had a couple side salads. Really yummy on everything. The salad was of generous size and awesome - beautifully presented with all the accoutrements. They have outdoor seating and the style of the venue reminds me of the classic western Sun Valley aesthetic. Great addition to the area! read more

Great location, great atmosphere, really average to below average food. I ordered a dinner salad & the open turkey dinner. They came virtually at the same time - really??!! When will restaurants LEARN to pace the meal?? Not only did they mess that up, but the turkey dish was BARELY warm and it was sliced turkey - not "real" turkey. I just can't stop talking about this place and can't say enough!! Stopped in and had the fingersteaks and a salad. Very fresh and generous salad with wonderful dressing. Lets see if I can organize this. The why then the atmosphere then food. I was scouting for an out of the way place to take my pops to on yelp and this place seemed like just the ticket. Just 90 miles away from me up near Council and while the trip out there was great the place itself was nothing to write home about. No neat nic nacs or even much of a country store feel about the place. So Meh. The food was a bit different. That was worth it. Almost every plate was in the $10ish range. Pops and I had a fish sandwich and a tri-tip burger. One with fries and an upgrade to onion rings. ($2.00 extra pop.) Both were good and filled you up. The fish had two nice patties and the burger had a decent amount of thinly sliced tri-tip added so thumbs up. The shocker came at the end. At the register I said something about what a nice dip the tri-tip could make if they wanted to. I was informed that they will do that AND that they also will make a Philly with either tri-tip or their prime rib! WOW I would have taken either in a heartbeat if they only told me that. Oh well maybe next time. Be all end all. If you're looking for a place to eat and are in the area stop by. You won't be disappointed with their burgers and the amount you get but I'd not make the another trip out there again just to eat there. One was more than enough. read more

We were driving up to New Meadows and notice the Open sign on the building and decided to stop. We came in and waited for instruction to seat ourselves or wait to be seated so we stood there for a while. When finally some came and told us to seat ourselves, it seems the people that owned it and the staff were all engaged in conversations visiting with others, so we seated ourselves. Finally we were given a one page menu with very few choices and when we asked the waitress about the menu we were told it was because they had not had their official opening. The hamburgers were not season properly. The over all experience was not very positive perhaps after they officially open it will be better. read more

Had dinner tonight, it has been several months since we were there even though we live just down the road. Little change from the last time we were here, we had hoped for improvement. . Food is bland, not inexpensive and service is slow. Red wine served ice cold, people are nice but food and prices are much better at legends in Weiser. There 10.00 hamburger was passable but a 6.00 Carl's Jr. is better. There was various debris stacked around the porch near the entrance, tri tip had little flavor and was cooked well done,served cold. salads were straight out of the Sysco bag.Poor family member waitress struggled making change. It appears to me other reviews here were done by family and friends........couldn't possibly be objective. They have been open long enough to be better than they are. Newly re-opened, this was a wonderful treat as I was visiting a friend in Weiser. Open limited hours as they gear up, the smoked tri-tip was great, as were ranch beans. Dinner salad was appetizing and fresh. My friend had a burger and loved it. The owners were personable and friendly, happy to get feedback. It has great potential to be a go-to place for locals and a happy find for those traveling through! read more
