I asked if I could just get an appointment on calendar for the week after I graduated, and they said no. I also asked if I could just MEET Dr. Rost for now to see if I like him, as I don't have an OB currently since my last OB stopped practicing. I explained that I've miscarried before, I'd rather not wait until the point when I miscarry again to have to meet the man for the first time who'd be doing a D&C. I was told if that happens, they can get me an appointment pretty quickly - which still means that I wouldn't have had an opportunity to meet Dr. Rost until I'm grieving and devastated. I then sent a message to Dr. Rost online, pleading for the office to pass my message along to Dr. Rost, explaining that I have a high-risk pregnancy and just want to MEET an OB and figure out who my doctor is going to be. That message was completely ignored. Once I graduated from my IVF place, I contacted Dr. Rost's office again to make an appointment. However, no one returned my message. This place does not care about what some women have been through just to try to get pregnant in the first place.

Dr. Rost has been wonderful to have for both my journey's to motherhood, but he is also just a great overall OBGYN. I actually switched doctors, when I was about 5 months pregnant with my first child. The doctor I had been seeing was ok, but the house we were looking at in that area fell through and between my apathy towards her and her horrendous office staff, it wasn't worth the drive. My co-worker recommended Dr. Rost and said he was a service provider she never felt nervous referring people to and that she had received resoundingly positive feedback. Well she had to add me to the list, because he is absolutely wonderful and his office staff is top notch. They know how to schedule appointments so you don't have long waits and always get back to you promptly after you leave a message, and they are just really nice people. Dr. Rost does his own sonogram's so no separate schedules with a tech only available on certain day's and he can answer questions right then. I have had two C-sections and I don't know if he has special healing fairy dust, but his cuts are amazing. My scar actually looked better than after my first scar along the same line, which was due to a myomectomy with another Dr. I am still baffled as to how he made that happen. I wish I could say more, but Dr. Rost is truly caring and patient doctor whose amazing bedside manner is matched only to his wealth of knowledge and technical skill. He practices at Baylor Grapevine in the Professional Building, which was a quick drive from Irving where I work and a pretty easy drive from North Arlington where I live now. Very convenient Grapevine location, so don't just look at the city to decide if he is close enough, personally it doesn't matter to me as long as I live in the DFW I will drive to the best OGBYN in the metroplex.

So we thought we'd try Baylor Scott and White because our chiropractor specifically highly recommended Dr Beau Ellenbecker to us. We could not be more pleased with Dr Ellenbecker!!! He is down to earth and very knowledgeable! His breadth of expertise in all areas of medicine are incredible and his bedside manner is calm and reassuring! Their website is so easy to check on results, make appointments and even chat with Dr Ellenbecker. And Dr Ellenbecker, or one of his staff are very quick to reply to any questions or concerns. Most of all, Dr Ellenbecker is so nice and down to earth. He is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain all my questions and concerns. His polite and calming bedside manner is such a relief compared to other doctors who are more concerned with the bottom line, rather than their own patients care and concern. I have NEVER had a place deny me because I was late. The rude guy continued to say I could be seen at 4pm by their nurse but I said no thanks. He AlSO said "Maybe if I came in at 2pm they could squeeze me in." what do you mean 'squeeze me in' my appointment was at 2!!! I called back to complain and he said "we are not a walk in clinc we are appointment only and you have to be on time." I said so you're telling me everyone is always exactally on time to an appointment? That is a lie. Don't go here, awful just awful.Rude and mean. I reported it to Baylor Corporate. Should be hearing back soon. Will avoid Baylor until then.

My review has nothing to do with Dr. Thomas Fliedner, but all with the front desk staff. Dr…read more Fliedner was fantastic, thorough and understanding. I originally had a procedure set up with him, but my insurance deemed him out of network. I called about two weeks prior to my surgery date to cancel, due to my insurance not accepting him as in network. I was forwarded to a nurse/assistant line where I left a voicemail with my contact info and requested a callback/cancel. Fast forward a few days and I received a text from the hospital where my procedure was supposed to be. Again, I call ten days prior to the surgery. A woman at the front desk sounded confused when I asked to confirm my surgery for august 11th was cancelled. She requested my name and number and advised she will call if she still sees it scheduled and if I don't hear from her, it was cancelled. No return call, assumed the surgery was cancelled. Fast forward to the day prior, I receive another text from the surgery facility. I text them that I have tried cancelling this TWICE with the doctors office. Now, day of, I received two calls from the facility and two from this office asking where I am/what happened. I am incredibly angry that I had called TWICE TO CANCEL but nobody could manage to relay the message. The negligence of the front desk has wasted the time of the facility, their staff, Dr. Fliedner and myself. I BEST not be charged due to the front office staffs inability to do their job.

April is a wondering nurse it's always a pleasure talking with her. She so down to earth and compassionate. I'm always greeted upon entering and the ladies in the front office are always pleasant and engaging. The office is always clean and neatly organized. Parking is never a problem so there is space. If labs are needed you can run upstairs on the second floor to get it done. The atmosphere is always laid back and quiet. Just thankful for my continued care and the great service they provide.
