Dr. Farmer himself is a very serious, friendly man who will take the time out of his busy day to explain your entire diagnosis to you. He will recommend different things and explain them to you in the easiest way to understand possible. He is a very intelligent, informative man and I really think he knows what he is doing. I had never been to the Gynecologist before and Dr. Farmer and his staff made my first experience very comfortable. I was pleased. My ONLY complaint is that the office is always a tad bit too hot for my liking. It is 100 degrees out there and sometimes in his office, it feels like its 101 in the waiting room! Overall, if you are looking for a gentle, friendly doctor, then Dr. Farmer and his staff are what you are looking for.

Every time I walk in I am greeted by the staff at the front desk. I love how they decorate the lobby according to what holiday is coming up. Puts a little smile on my face to see those personal touches. I am not kept waiting for longer than maybe 20 minutes most of the time I visit. The lobby and patient rooms are always clean and tidy. The restrooms inside the office is well decorated to make it not feel like a 'gloomy doctor office' (if that makes sense). Anytime I ask her a question or concern I have she always has the right answer to it and makes me feel at peace. She has recommended other doctors or services if I am in need of something she does not cover. She is great and friendly but I just wish our visits were a little longer to talk to her more. My visits and talks with her always feel like they are too short. If you are thinking of setting an appointment the number will direct you to the general hospital network and from there they filter to the people as needed.

Linda, her nurse/assistant is awesome and always makes me laugh. I have not used Dr. Cip for OB treatment but see her at least one time each year for my GYN exam. I recently changed to this doctor because they were in my insurance network and was able to take advantage of the free of charge annual visit for my pap and birth control prescription. It was NOT told to me that I would only receive 3 months worth of birth control and that this Dr. would require me to come EVERY 3 months (spending the $150 doctor's visit each time) to get 3 months more of birth control. She used the excuse that it was for my benefit, to make sure the birth control was working out for me. Since I have been on this kind forever, I said that was not necessary and I even tried to get my records from my previous doctor's office sent over to prove it. They would not help me with this either. No Doctor has EVER required me to come more than once a year for my prescription to be filled. This place is a SCAM, don't go there unless you want every last penny squeezed out of you. Not to mention the time away from work for a POINTLESS doctor's appointment.

I let the doctor know, I didn't think the HRT treatment was working. I had my exam and labs run. After my lab results came back, I discovered they didn't even check my hormone level. Again, whole reason I started going to Dr. Emmet. I have since had my hormones tested at a different OBGYN. Thank goodness I did. I need to be on additional hormones. Point is, don't trust a doctor that doesn't run proper tests

Dr. Gray and her team are all very helpful and scheduling appointment is easy. I usually go for the first appointment in the day ,so there is no waiting. But a few times that I went in the middle of the day, I had to wait for about half an hour. So far I've had no complaints. I am young and went in this morning for my first pap smear and I didn't really know what to expect. I was nervous, so I took my spouse with me. When the nurse called me to the back, we approached her and she put her hand up as to stop him, because I had already slipped into the other side of the door, and he was following behind me. She then told him, " there isn't any seating in the room" and shut the door on him. I was shocked and didn't respond fast enough, so he waited for me in the waiting room. Then I heard another patient who was waiting in the waiting room say, "well, that was rude." Proceed to the actual appointment with the Doctor, She comes into the room after a little while and I was trying to collect myself and just get through the appointment had been wiping away tears and trying not to continue to cry. She comes into the room and ignores that I had been upset. I guess I expected her to say something like, "It's okay, no reason to be nervous". But, again, I was like oh well. She starts to ask me about what has been going on, and as I am trying to explain to her my history she talks over me, and so I wait patiently to continue with what has been going on inside my body. She then tells that my "yeast infection" doesn't sound like a "yeast infection" it sounds like my boyfriend is cheating on me. Her exact words were, " that doesn't sound like a yeast infection. Has your boyfriend been with anyone else since yall have been together?" I responded with, "No, not to my knowledge with a little giggle, because it was so awkward and random. I was uncomfortable and just wanted to leave, but I didn't feel like that was really an option. So, she proceeded with the exam and then said, "everything looks really healthy, I will send the sample off to be tested. You are good to go pay". I then go to pay even though I have health insurance, and I am waiting for 10 min. for the lady to check me out. She said, " hold on, let me check out the lady behind you first, because your stuff isn't in the system yet. The lady behind me didn't wait at all and came to find out it was covered by insurance, and I didn't owe anything, so I waited another 12 min. for no reason. Thanks for wasting my time. SUMMARY: The staff made me feel unwelcome, frustrated, stupid, ashamed, and confused. My experience isn't everyone's, but I would not recommend this office or doctor to anyone I care for.

After examination, she was able to confirm what she stated.
