Jess was the most professional and knowledgeable of all the folks I had bid on this job. It took them a bit to get to me after the bid, probably 2-2.5 months. The service was completed as agreed. They had a lift in my yard, and left no marks. They actually left my yard cleaner than when they arrived. I had some brush piled up that I had cleaned out of my fence line - they got rid of it. The leaves I hadn't cleared off my back patio? Gone. I was really impressed. I've had some contractors leave a mess in my interior. I definitely didn't expect this outside.

I was impressed with how quickly he was able to come out and take a look at the trees in our yard, and he even had his team scheduled to come out within a week to handle the trimming and cleanup. Alex sent over an estimate the same day he came by, and it felt like a fair price for the amount of work we needed. We weren't looking to remove any full trees, just wanted branches trimmed back between our yard and the neighbors', plus some cleanup in the back where lower branches and vines had gotten out of control. One thing I forgot to mention was that we wanted the branches cut into smaller pieces for our firepit. After the crew left, I noticed some of the pieces were pretty long and thick, so I messaged Alex. He had someone come back later that same day to take care of it, which I really appreciated. We've since had a firepit night, and most of the wood burned great, just a few bigger pieces we had to cut down a bit more ourselves. When we met with Terry to get his vision for a retaining wall; he was friendly and knew what we wanted from the start. He was able to match the brick work that was already pre-existing in the back of our house; which was a plus! Terry and his crew scheduled a time to come out to work on the wall; and they made it look awesome! They made sure to include drainage areas and the tiered looks is just what we wanted for the steep incline in our yard. Not only do we use GLC for our retaining wall, we also use them to treat our yard and do most of the yard work. When we first moved in, our yard was filled with mostly weeds and we had a "grub" problem. Well, with their help, our yard is looking better and the grass is actually green and well taken care of! They do all sorts of treatment throughout the year for us at a decent rate and we are so lucky to have them come out to mow the lawn too! At a previous home I had to have a few trees removed and I'm very pleased with the clean uo and speed of this crew compared to what I've experienced in the past. More details if you want it: A large tree fell and smashed the roof of our garage during a storm taking a power line with it. Omni responded before Ameren did. They came in, took down and cleaned up this huge tree in about 2hrs. We had another tree with a very dead branch that we asked half way through the project if they could take down and they did without issue. Our neighbor was worried they'd take the whole tree down- but they knew exactly what I was talking about and only took down the dead branch - beautiful old tree is safe and healthier than ever. These guys were very responsive and respectful. If mngt is reading this- the crew you sent to Leona deserve a raise! If you're a woman reading this - I can confirm that they were wonderful, professional and did as I asked when I had specifications. They were very easy to communicate with. Not once did I feel like they were speaking down to me or did I get an eye roll - even as I approached them in the middle of the job with a question, which I understand was likely pretty annoying dealing with chainsaws and wood chippers.
