Law school and bar preparation is challenging because students don't know whether they are on the…read moreright track while they are in school. The professors tend to give you very little or no feedback. Hiring Meredith is the best thing I have ever done. She does one-on-one tutoring sessions. What I love the most is that she takes the law and puts it in layman's terms. I always had a hard time understanding contracts law but with our weekly tutoring sessions it continues to become easier and easier for me to follow. Meredith is fantastic to deal with and is very knowledgable and familiar with the law. My only regret is that I didn't take her sooner! I would definitely recommend hiring Meredith for bar prep or if you're having trouble with law school.

It's a good course, really help you to focus on key components of the test. Had Nick as my…read moreinstructor (he's amazing and he deserved 5 stars on yelp!) The course material is at times sexist and racist and with all the side comments it adds up and takes longer to do the lessons. One disclaimer they were not so transparent when I enrolled is that : you have to keep paying after your class ends (99 or 199 depends what course you took) to have access to your class material. Find this to be BS, we are already paying A LOT of money and the class is so fast paced that 3 months is NOT enough to take the LSAT (it would be my first time taking it and i have a full time job... or even as a student it's too short)

"BIGGEST REGRET OF 2018"…read more Pros: - You throw money at an LSAT Prep course and feel good about you "studying" for the LSAT. Cons: - You can achieve just as much, if not more, studying on your own. Anyone can do it, I promise you. - The "Nick" people are referring to is more than likely some guy who scored high on a self-proctored preptest or is solely a high LSAT scorer. That does not mean he knows exactly how to TEACH LSAT material! The "Nick" I had actually was an egregious teacher. He mostly boasted about how he got a 170+ on the LSAT, is going to Yale (and Coachella), and just using this prep course as an income until law school. - If you ask "Nick" to explain why an answer choice is wrong. He could not tell me why an wrong answer was wrong. He could only tell you why the right answer is right. It is usually pretty obvious why the right answer works but it takes a true expert to be able to explain why a wrong answer is wrong. - The instructor is not going to be "Nick" because if "Nick" was in fact a good instructor he would have left Blueprint to start his own LSAT prep company. Since these prep companies hire guys for $25 an hour and then charge you $$$$ for a course, it wouldn't make sense for him to stay. More reputable LSAT experts charge a lot more per hour and their classes are less expensive than Blueprint. (Listen to the ThinkingLSAT podcast for a bunch of information about this and free LSAT help, recourses and materials or look up Ben Olsen and Nathan Fox they offer tons of FREE information. You can thank me later!) Concession: Nick might have been great in 2015 and 2016 when he was teaching. But I never met a Nick. Trust me, do not waste your money. Take a timed section a day, review all your wrong and even right answers, and skip the LSAT gimmicks that Blueprint provides with all their theories. I graduated UCSD, I can appreciate theories, but this is not a place for theories. This is logic. It is black and white, wrong and right. Further, when asked for a refund they did not provide a refund. Feel free to DM me for any questions. Good Luck!

First off, Maureen is the best! She helped me to identify my strengths and rectify my weaknesses…read morefor the MBE, essays, and the performance test. I signed up for the 1-on-1 sessions with Maureen in addition to the "mastering" set of zoom group classes, and I also got her PT, essay, and MBE books. The books were half as thick as the standard prep materials but chock full of templates and examples, all of which help you to figure out what the examiners are looking for! The "mastering" group classes are on zoom, and include mastering essays, mastering CA pt, and mbe minutiae. These were definitely worth it to get acquainted with the different approaches to certain topics, and common MBE slip ups. As for the 1-on-1 sessions, some weeks included more essay practice, and some weeks had more PT practice, but all of it is tailored to you. MBE practice is constant throughout the whole prep, and the amount of practice sets will ramp up once the first two weeks or so has passed. The workload can be mid to high intensity depending on the schedule you adopt, but overall as long as you follow the initial schedule Maureen provides you with it will definitely be manageable. Also she keeps it real with you. If you ask her if she feels whether or not you'll pass she will be straight up with you to let you know where you stand. And if something popped up like you had to go to the doctor or something she will work with you to reschedule a session. Last note, the black letter law quicksheets are a lifesaver when it comes to memorizing the rules!

I wish I could give this place a higher rating as Maureen MacManus is knowledgeable in her method and approach in teaching. It is also evident that she tries to stay up-to-date with the latest information for the CA Bar. As background information, I signed up for the 10-pack graded essays and the "Mastering Essays" class. In the "Mastering" class, she thoroughly goes over an essay and her method of how to approach it from start to finish. She also provides access to old recordings of other essays she has gone over as she chooses different essays to review each bar cycle. The website is a bit disorganized and hard to find specific things. The recordings are not labeled to let you know which essay is being covered so you just have to click through them. With the already limited time I have, this is a bit frustrating. My biggest gripe is the turnaround time for the essays. While Maureen does provide meaningful and detailed feedback, I have had to follow up on an essay that I submitted two weeks ago. This is an inconvenience as the test is fast-approaching, and it would be helpful to know what I can change and practice this approach rather than practice it incorrectly several times. Moreover, I did not even receive an apology for this. I just got a "here is your essay" message. From the comments and date stamp on my essay, it looks like my esssay was graded within a week. So I assume it was just lost among other assignments to be returned, but I find that this is still inexcusable. I think I would be forgiving if I was at least given an apology instead of a short email.

I took their review workshops for BA 360, BA 370, and MIS 301. All were great and they helped me get A's on all the tests I did review sessions on (even for tests with averages of D's and below). I went to their workshops when I didn't have time to study because I was super busy with work. They teach you just what you need to know for the test and try not to overload you with unnecessary info. There were some tests I didn't study for at all, but I got good grades on thanks to A Plus. The place might look a little sketchy, but they're legit. I know a lot of people who have gone to these sessions. The teaching style of some of the people there can be crass (and abusive?
