Worst havarti sample ever. But, kumquats are good, and you can buy them here for cheap.

For the best juice deal in the city, go to the back of the store and seek out the Blueberry Lemonade. Only a buck. Gotta have it.

A great place to find fresh and varied produce in the city. I found some unusual items here and recommend it!

Ok, a small demotion for the lack of organic produce. The stuff they do have is all wrapped in plastic and styrofoam.

I like Bedford Fruit Market! If you're looking for a quick pick-me-up, especially with the variety…read moreof options they have, it's worth stopping by. They offer everything from yogurt to fresh fruits and vegetables. I got one of their freshly made açai bowls, and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't frozen or overly icy. It had a nice, moist consistency, which I appreciated. The woman who served me was also very nice. I believe she was Russian or Ukrainian, and she had a variety of teas and cookies that I'd love to try on my next visit. I'll definitely be stopping by this location again. Sometimes I don't feel like dealing with the traffic in Williamsburg, so it's nice to know I have another spot where I can stop, grab something to eat and take a little break.

As a vegan down on her luck and her daily veggie intake, I desperately needed my daily broccoli…read moreintake. My iron, dangerously low, I wandered into this place and to my greatest of all joys, found they had frozen brocc. Seven dollars and fifty cents later I was skipping home like the happy little rabbit I am at heart. I would experience delirium brought on by lack of brocc brocc. Then I opened the bag. It was... brown... in the places I could see through the chunks of ice the broccoli was layered in. For almost eight dollars? Really? I had rice and survived but perhaps maybe reduce your freezer burn rate.

Great selection of organic items. In other markets,…read moreavocados these days are covered in "Appeel" / Calvo brand & have chemicals to preserve them--fortunately, this grocer actually carries REAL organic avocados! A rare find lately! They also have a nice vegan substitutes selections as well, such as Organic Nuts for Cheese Cashew Black Garlic (delicious). The store manager & worker were very polite as I did a late night quick stop before close & they gave me a 1 minute warning which was just enough time to get what I needed. Thank you!

I am a bit confused; does Heidy know how to speak? I went into the store this morning around 8:45,…read moregot what I needed and went to her register. As I put my jam down to be rung up, I said "Good morning'. No response, not even a glance in my direction. In fact, she seemed quite annoyed. I figured she didn't hear me, so as she was about to ring up the jam, I said it again, and again, no response or even a hint that she knew I was there. As I was leaving, I said 'thank you' as she gave me the receipt, which she handed to me from her side while she remained facing the register. Again, No response. However, Heidy's power of speech returned just as soon as she began to help the next customer. Not only did she respond to his greeting, but she was also quite enthusiastic about it and even asked him how he was doing.
