As it turned out, I was much worse off than I initially believed. Instead of receiving crowns in the past, the dentist in Three Forks opted for fillings that were way too large, and (as the new dentist informed me) this was just a short term fix. The fillings have cracked, damaging my teeth further, and leaving me with much more work needing to be done. There is no way I could say this was an intended outcome, but it seems awfully fishy to go with such a temporary fix to this type of issue. I would say the practices are questionable at best, but at least the staff is kind.

We filled like 6 on the top row and then my daughter's father shipped me back to my parents in Florida, before we could fill the bottom row. Keep in mind, I've never had a cavity in my life. They told me it was because of pregnancy. Come to find out, I have 0 cavities on my bottom row. The fillings moos had put in have been falling out, and I went to go get one refilled this morning. They told me that so much of my tooth had been drilled I now require a crown. They have destroyed my mouth. They scammed a young new mother on Medicaid because they could. Now years later I have to pay $1200 to put a crown in on a tooth that didn't even have any cavities to begin with, just got drilled to hell for no reason. Screw this place, the fillings they put in fall out after about a year anyways.

His entire staff is very caring and kind and his assistant and nurse were nearly pain free and really listened to my conditions and situation requiring breaks from mouth work, pain free shots, and patience in all endeavors. They are working with my balance that my insurance doesn't cover, and have been fabulous about making payments. I felt no judgement and was treated with the utmost respect. My family had an unfortunate experience with another dental practice in Butte, and believe me this was a very welcoming change. Dental work is traumatic and I believe should have coverage in medicare especially for the elderly as it has a direct impact on our health. The staff was mediocre and barely pleasant. Almost like it was an inconvenience to ask questions. Make sure to ask questions about every possible charge you may get, such as an exam, ct scan, x rays, temporary or permanent filling after root canal, etc. If they give you a temporary filling, you will need to go to a regular dentist and pay several hundred dollars to get a permanent filling. They could easily improve by explaining to new clients what to expect with billing instead of being surprised after the work is complete.
