Carolyn was reassuring, & she mentioned that if I needed a crown on another tooth, that it takes just one visit: I found that to be a game-changer for me (after spending multiple visits at another local dental practice over 2 months for ONE crown which failed, resulting in a very expensive root canal from a local endodontist)! I made the appointment, & recall telling Carolyn that it was because of her that I was doing so. I feel very strongly about excellent customer service & found Carolyn to be exceptional. As I told Dr. J. Max Wasserburger about what led me to seek this second opinion from him, I cried. After listening to me, reviewing all my x-rays, & examining my teeth, he reassured me that my teeth were not in the dire condition that I had been led to believe. Dr. Wasserburger is not only an excellent dentist, he's an artist! I asked him if he could use composite to fill in the worn areas on several teeth to protect & restore them before I get aligners or braces. What he did was AMAZING! I never expected to feel MORE confident over having these done, but I do, & his work looks fabulous--completely restored! It has made me feel HAPPY, & that is priceless. I've also had the remaining metal fillings removed & replaced with composite, & it feels so much better: The reason I needed two crowns in the first place was because my metal fillings had caused both of those teeth to crack & age prematurely. My crown experience with Dr. Wasserburger was FUN: The entire procedure for a permanent crown start-to-finish was complete in about 2 hours, & I even got to watch the crown being made! I have had some great dentists over the years, but Dr. Wasserburger is by far the BEST! I underwent a surgical extraction and bone replacement graft. From the moment I walked in the door, I received pleasant, professional customer service. Even before showing up for my appointment, I experienced excellent planning from the staff with excellent communication by both e-mail and telephone. I was mildly anxious when I arrived, as I am a rather difficult IV start. Everyone who provided my care was kind and compassionate, alleviating my nervousness. The procedure was done flawlessly in no time! The post-operative instructions provided at my discharge are the best I have ever received. Their insurance coordinator did an excellent job of reaching out to my Dental Insurance and getting me pre-approved, with an accurate amount for my co-pay. I had a friend refer me to Dr. Todd. The other dentist had left part of the fillings under the caps so I have to have all the caps removed and the old fillings removed. I now have a great teeth and no pain. I have continued to see Todd and also get regular cleaning too. I have always found all the people very competent and use up to date equipment for the best results. I am very glad I also had all the very old fillings from when I was a teenager removed too.
