Pros: *relatively quiet, mannerly camp guests. *attractive campground and camp sites *easily available facilities + water, dump, garbage, etc *showers are free and hot water is running *plenty of walking and cycling paths *all kinds of camping from backpackers to horses to yurts Cons: *electricity in the yurts is a touch wonky *bathrooms don't necessarily seem clean as much as they seem "rinsed off" periodically; yet relatively free of unpleasantness *women's bathroom stalls ridiculously tiny Set between Seaside and Tillamook, it's a great base from which to set off exploring. Yurts could not be called "luxurious" yet they are cozy and have all the basics met. A few yurts are pet friendly.

We went on a rainy day so could not enjoy the view from our site since we had to stay inside the trailer. It's okay, it was still a great visit. I look forward to going again! Ha! This park is extremely well maintained and best of all, it is a stone's throw to the beach. Also, wifi and cable tv, bathrooms are very clean. No laundry on site but there is a laundromat a few minutes away in town that we used. (While there, treat yourself to some ice cream and a ride on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad!) We had a super sweet, shaded spot (#53) that had its own fire pit, was private and blissfully quiet except for a bird or 2 singing. We started every morning and ended each day with a walk on the sand with our dog. The beach was never crowded due to private access! Not so little things like the trash being regularly emptied and the area kept remarkably tidy, as well as an always full dog bag dispenser was greatly appreciated!! We will absolutely return and are already planning when! Thank you for all the effort you put into making this a fantastic park to stay at!!

And each time we caught lots of crab, when you bring them back they will cook them to your liking. There are some rules but it's pretty simple overall. Patience is key when you're crabbing and remember the early birds get the worms! The staff is all very friendly and have a passion for this. In the gift shop they sell drinks and snacks that you can take with you on the boat. We'd do it again and again!

In addition to hosting guest groups, they have an excellent Christian summer camp program for all ages that has been a real blessing spiritually for me and my children. They make great efforts to continually improve the facilities and having access to the ocean directly on the site as well as a fresh water lake makes for a beautiful location and experience.
