They have gone through many changes in the past couple years. I see one person that took time to comment about the camp from a few years ago. I can speak first from first hand experience that those types of experiences shouldn't be taking place anymore. I truly wish we could make it up to that child that was so frustrated and seeing poor behavior from kids and staff. I am so thankful to hear from my children how Christ centered the camp is and how they have a truly biblical focus. They love every kid that attends and seek to point the attendees towards the lifestyle and Christlike choices. They have worked hard to find great counselors and staff at TRC. Kasey was incredible to work with from day one. She answered our many questions graciously and patiently. And when our day of coordinator flaked the night before our wedding, Kasey stepped up and helped however she could. My wife and I will forever be singing her praises. We stayed in the loft with our bridal party the night before the wedding and we were very comfortable. The bridal party stayed in the house the night of the wedding and it was fantastic! A group of 20 of us enjoyed multiple delicious meals that the staff prepared for us throughout our stay. The day after the wedding, we enjoyed a delicious brunch-- complete with on theme decorations. If you do this option, request their waffles and cinnamon rolls. So yummy! After brunch, we braved the 300 foot slip n slide. If you're on the fence, just do it! It is wildly fun and such a once in a lifetime way to wrap up a wedding weekend. There was so much stress leading up to our wedding but I can say confidently that NONE of that was because of Camp Cedar Ridge. Their motto is Discover the Good and they are GOOD at what they do. The owner Sarah is a former teacher and she and her staff were wonderful. The girls learned to groom the horses, braid the horses manes and even decorate the horses. Then off to an indoor arena lesson and games while riding. Followed by a trail ride. Looking forward to returning with the family for the family lesson at very competitive pricing.

Man was her right! I had the great pleasure of having Lauren teach me to surf, and what a fun loving human this woman is. You can tell she truly loves your life and what she does for a living. Her love for surfing and the Oregon coast is inspiring. Each and every member of this staff was a cheerleader and stoked to be teaching. Whenever I stay on the coast for more than 2 days, I come here to get in my swim. I just can't go…read morelonger than that without doing an hour of laps. Both my mind and body need the water! The pool accommodates 6 swimmers and I have never had to wait for a lane. One end of the pool is super shallow, like maybe 3 feet, and it feels a bit strange to swim when your fingers almost touch the bottom but it's a pool, and I need my work out! The water is a moderate temp, around 80 degrees which dpfeels cold when you enter but after two laps, it's perfect. The locker and shower room is clean, which You can't always say about recreational facilities. They allow travelers to use just the showers for $2 and they limit it to a very specific timeframe. If you pay $9 for the day pass, a shower is included. For residents who pay taxes to Seaside, the day rate is $6. Don't worry if you forget your towel, for another $1 they will provide. In addition to the main pool, there is a smaller baby pool and a jacuzzi. I pass on those, not just here, but anywhere. Since I visit Cannon Beach a few times a year, I'm thrilled this facility exists. Right after my morning coffee I take the 20 minute drive to Seaside, get in my swim, shower, dress, and meet back up with my friends to enjoy the afternoon and evening.
