    Chocolate croissant

Great pastries, fresh from the oven if you time it right. Enjoyed chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll.

had been here years ago, today i decided to come again and I ate a chocolate croissant today wasn't bad would suggest probably making them fresh didn't feel it was as fresh . Place is located in sunny isles near the beaches so it's convenient for those living in this area can come to this little mall and have a quick bite drinks and pastries, service was good..: ambiance was ok feel it neeeda to be more lively

Pros: Manhattan Bakery is great for coffee, a snack or a light meal. The service is cordial and quick enough, depending on the time of day. Don't expect to walk in and out in the late afternoon, when regulars take over the patio to gossip and people-watch. The patio seems to be a good place to catch a glimpse of real life near Miami Beach. Though most of what you will see is a parking lot and high-rise condominiums, you'll be lucky to catch a glimpse of regulars who visit here or the popular Russian restaurant a few shops down. Cons: This venezuelan cafe is nondescript in name, location, decor, & menu. They serve empanadas, sandwiches, arepas, pastries & probably more. Its decor gives vibes of a chain-restaurant, which would match up with its impersonal name; but nothing else suggests this. I would love to know how "Manhattan Bakery" got its name or how/when it started. This kind of personal touch might make a world of a difference to an otherwise indifferent cafe.

This was a very nice bakery with many options for lunch. I ordered the arepa with carne mechada and a strawberry tart, both were very good. They have a variety of Venezuelan food options to choose from.

A pretty busy hole in a wall spot. They make the sandwiches immediately. We loved the cuban sandwiches. The veggie juices was good too. I would have given them five stars but they didn't have green tea which I initially ordered so I had a green blended drink instead. Then I wanted the turkey avocado sandwich and they didn't have avocados either so I ended up ordering a cuban sandwich. I was satisfied with the replacement of my initial orders. The sandwiches had a great amount of meat and cheese. They did it as how a cuban sandwich should be.

Minimal selection but what they had was good. Got a beef empanada that was tasty with great dough. Service was incredibly slow though

The food came out quickly and tasted ok--nothing special. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our server never smiled, and it wasn't just with our table; we noticed the same interaction with other guests as well. There was no greeting, no check-in during the meal, and the service felt like it was simply taking our order and coming back with the check. The food was enjoyable, but the lack of hospitality really affected the overall experience. Sadly, we probably won't be back.

Some places become part of your life without you realizing it at the time, and this is one of those places for me. José and I loved coming here together, enjoying the donuts, the coffee, and simply spending time with each other. Those ordinary little moments became some of the memories I treasure most today. Every time I come back, there is a part of me that feels like he is still here with me. Beyond the sentimental meaning it has for me, The Salty has always been special in its own right. The donuts are creative, beautiful and delicious, the coffee is wonderful, and there is always something new to try. But no menu item could ever be as important to me as the memories this place holds. Thank you for unknowingly being part of our story. José is no longer physically here to come with me, but whenever I visit, I carry him with me -- and for a little while, it feels like we're having coffee and something sweet together again. Some places serve food. Some places hold memories. This one holds a piece of my heart.

It was excellent. This is my new favorite place plus parking is very easy on the side of the mall.

Place is cute... quaint & cozy spot to grab a good coffee & read a few pages from your current book! Staff was 50/50 = some were moving fast, prepping orders, restocking while others seem to stay in their lane & not leverage their support to move the patron's orders along... my order, while larger than the 2 customer's behind me had a coffee item. I had ordered 3 croissants & 4 other bite sized items. I managed to get that box first then my coffee. While the 2 behind me got their coffee & went on their merry way. I wasn't too happy that my order for the coffee wasn't a part of the prepped items at the coffee station. Had to wait a little longer for that to be served - 4 extra minutes to be exact. I would have expected my coffee before the boxed pastries. Now for the croissants themselves - I was a bit taken back that they were $9.00. Places like La Boulangerie or Maman has them for $5.00 (plain) to $7.50 (filled). I'm pretty familiar with many others within that same price range. Therefore $9 was a huge hike in pricing. Nonetheless I ordered 3 & they were fresh, delicious & probably worthy of repeating. But only if I want to indulge in the price of said item. Total for my order which included (3) croissants, (5) medialunas & (1) cafe con leche came out to $52 - I included a 15% tip in error because my mind was really processing the prices.
