    Chocolate croissant

Great pastries, fresh from the oven if you time it right. Enjoyed chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll.

had been here years ago, today i decided to come again and I ate a chocolate croissant today wasn't bad would suggest probably making them fresh didn't feel it was as fresh . Place is located in sunny isles near the beaches so it's convenient for those living in this area can come to this little mall and have a quick bite drinks and pastries, service was good..: ambiance was ok feel it neeeda to be more lively

Pros: Manhattan Bakery is great for coffee, a snack or a light meal. The service is cordial and quick enough, depending on the time of day. Don't expect to walk in and out in the late afternoon, when regulars take over the patio to gossip and people-watch. The patio seems to be a good place to catch a glimpse of real life near Miami Beach. Though most of what you will see is a parking lot and high-rise condominiums, you'll be lucky to catch a glimpse of regulars who visit here or the popular Russian restaurant a few shops down. Cons: This venezuelan cafe is nondescript in name, location, decor, & menu. They serve empanadas, sandwiches, arepas, pastries & probably more. Its decor gives vibes of a chain-restaurant, which would match up with its impersonal name; but nothing else suggests this. I would love to know how "Manhattan Bakery" got its name or how/when it started. This kind of personal touch might make a world of a difference to an otherwise indifferent cafe.

This was a very nice bakery with many options for lunch. I ordered the arepa with carne mechada and a strawberry tart, both were very good. They have a variety of Venezuelan food options to choose from.

A pretty busy hole in a wall spot. They make the sandwiches immediately. We loved the cuban sandwiches. The veggie juices was good too. I would have given them five stars but they didn't have green tea which I initially ordered so I had a green blended drink instead. Then I wanted the turkey avocado sandwich and they didn't have avocados either so I ended up ordering a cuban sandwich. I was satisfied with the replacement of my initial orders. The sandwiches had a great amount of meat and cheese. They did it as how a cuban sandwich should be.

Empanada is not fresh fried, it tastes like reheated or fried again. I think they mixed the corn flour with some other flour

The space is absolutely beautiful ~ roses everywhere, elegant decor, and very Instagrammable from the moment you walk in. One thing that stood out, however, was a very strong scent sprayed in the hallway upon entry. My friend, who is sensitive to strong smells, felt sick afterward. It didn't linger heavily at the table, but for anyone sensitive to fragrance, this could definitely be an issue. As for the food, our Eggs Benedict initially came out overcooked, but our server Jonathan A. handled it perfectly. He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don't tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn't say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn't completely blow my mind, it's still a beautiful spot with solid service. All things considered, I'd honestly give it 4 stars and would return, especially for the atmosphere.

For this visit, I had the Neverland iced coffee and the Golden Tater Tot meal, while my wife had the croissant with Nutella, banana, and strawberries along with the Passionate fruit drink. My sister-in-law opted for the Firehouse breakfast with a pistachio coffee, and everyone was thrilled with their choices. Maybe While also reinforcing loud conversations or cell phone use isn't allowed? Perhaps there's something I'm missing here. Besides that, both meals I've had here were meh. The service was non existent and cold, dismissive. I don't believe the server, a woman, spoke a word to me. I walked in, she came over and gave me a menu. I flagged her over to place my order, still no words, and had to flag her over to ask for water. The meek portion of soup was bland with an over powerful taste of cilantro with an unbalanced taste of quinoa with a few shreds of chicken. Upon finishing the soup, she cleared table, without words, didn't ask if I wanted anything else nor provided the check and my water was empty. I stayed awhile, wondered if I'd get a check or there was something else I was expected to do which I figured out after the man at another table went to the desk to pay. Being a local, I'd love to enjoy this experience but I'm not sure how this place keeps its doors open if this is what the experience is like. The only extra star is for the true feel of a cafe and ambiance but that's all I can speak for.
