They push you to think harder and solve problems on your own, which helped me get better at math and problem-solving overall. The class sizes are usually pretty small, so it's easier to ask questions if you get stuck. The instructors are patient and explain things clearly, sometimes showing multiple ways to solve a problem. I also like that the curriculum goes beyond what we learn in regular school, especially for competition math and advanced topics. It can definitely be demanding at times, but if you're willing to put in the effort, it's worth it. I feel like I've improved a lot since starting there, and it's helped build my confidence.

(I'm not one) The schedules are honestly so bad, some people have lunch at 9. (Schedule 7am-4pm depending on classes) I swear these guidance counselors don't actually have a degree. I took refresher swimming lessons recently via Gateway Sports, and one of the venues available in Queens was the swimming pool in Bayside High School. So that's what I went with..close to home and plenty of residential parking. Overall, not bad. Not an Olympic sized pool but it's adequate. Well maintained and clean. My only major gripe was the locker room was freezing..almost like the school couldn't afford to turn on the heat a little..lol

We're soooo glad we used them because my daughter passed her road test! We highly recommend them because: 1. Their website is very helpful in picking the package you prefer. 2. The gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful. 3. They will call for reminders. 4. They're accomodating (was able to pick up and drop off my daughter from her local college). 5. Vlad, the instructor, was patient and very calm and corrected what needs to be corrected plus he didn't yell LOL. Thank you, Bell staff!

Bell is different - they are straight with what they offer, customer service and booking were excellent, and their policies are clear. Peter was my instructor and he was, in a word, outstanding. He was very encouraging, patient, and thorough with his teaching. Although I failed my first test due to my own negligence, Peter helped me work out my kinks and I passed on my 2nd try a week later. I would absolutely recommend him, as some others have here! I also want to specifically highlight how accommodating they were when it came to lesson pickups. I live in East Queens but Bell largely operate in Long Island. I thought that it would be a hurdle, but we agreed to meet in Bayside for my lessons. If you're in Queens and want a solid school, don't overlook Bell!
