I stopped at the Casino today for lunch in the Blue Dolphin Lounge and ordered the TBLT Sandwich,…read morewhich came with fries and slaw. The Food: portion - America sized, lots to eat. quality - sandwich was excellent but arrived cold; fries very good, arrived hot, but cooled quickly; slaw, good with a wee bite. Beer Selection: Bud & Bud Lite were the only beers on tap, which is pathetic. The Select brands were run of the mill. Premium brands included Corona, Heineken, Guinness and Keith's. Sorry, Keith's is not premium and either are the two Fort Garry choices. Service: was perfunctory. Price: sandwich $9.95 - premium beer $5.25 Overall: I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of my lunch and overall experience at the Casino. I think as long as one doesn't set their expectations too high the Casino offers a nice stop on the way to or from beach country and provided good value for money.

As soon as we stepped in the door we were welcomed with an overwhelming smell of sewer/mold stench. We decided to stay as arrangements were made to meet there. We have both eaten and ordered take out in the past and it was good. This time it was different. We regretted ordering the chicken rice as the chicken was cooked several days earlier, and it was very dry as well as the rice. The rest of meals were ok but not up to their usual standard.

This buffet is located near downtown Winnipeg and Polo Park Mall…read more Just like any other buffet, it was busy with families and friends all eager to eat a wide range of Asian food. The highlight of this buffet is definitely the service, because the employees were always happy to help! Not only that but, as blunt as it may seem to say this ... their staff spoke English and had great dialect which made it easy to communicate services. Whereas, some buffets I've been to only a fraction of the staff would understand and speak English. ASIAN FOOD, my fave. Oddly enough, this buffet had a great sushi selection (also something you don't see everyday). But I'd pass on the sashimi because it didn't taste as fresh. They also serve a decent amount of dim sum and dumplings! As for the meats, they range from general tao chicken, coconut shrimp, ribs, a half of crab, fried chicken, and much more! I would definitely recommend this buffet for large gatherings or simply if you're craving every Asian food item possible. Ye's hits the spot!
