They have a typical Chinese food menu, and the prices are a little higher than other places in the area, but the food is really good. Interesting flavours, and higher quality ingredients. Have picked-up take out orders from here a few times and always receive a handful of fortune cookies. Orders are fulfilled very quickly, and food is packaged well for travel. Staff are very pleasant. Always a lot of people in here on weekends. Worth a visit if you want Chinese food, worth the drive.

Parking is available in front on the street, as well as in a nice large lot across the road. The entrance to this place is really weird. I couldn't find a direct entrance from the outside at all. I got in here by following a passageway from the adjacent bar (completely separate establishment). The owners are from Guangdong, and spoke Cantonese. Authenticity test passed. Somewhat. Being from a small town, obviously they won't have access to the same Asian ingredients as establishments in a larger city. So one must obviously cut them some slack. Same with the authenticity. The dishes are comparable to what you'd find in a food court, such as lemon chicken, Singaporean-style rice, wonton soup, deep fried wontons, sweet and sour spare ribs, and chop suey. As I went in with this expectation, it was met.

Everything was on point. The spring rolls came out so hot and crispy that I nearly burned my tongue. BBQ Pork was savory and sweet and not at all dry - in short it was incredible. The Cantonese fried rice just kept making you want to eat more of it. Our shrimp entree was perfectly cooked. I really couldn't ask for more. Service was a bit slow, but they were also very busy and the food was still making its way fresh out of the kitchen. When the food is this good I can forgive a lot. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, this is not the place for you, and you should stop reading. Lee's Village is a westernized Chinese restaurant located near Downtown Steinbach. I recently did a trip there, and was invited to eat here for dinner with some friends (on their bill). Needless to say I accepted their offer. The inside is quite decent, it does have some resemblance of trying to be a Chinese restaurant. However, the servers are unsurprisingly not Asian...although the chef was, which was somewhat of a good sign. We had the special fried rice, sweet and sour veal, sweet and sour pork, shrimp with vegetables, chicken balls, beef with broccoli, BBQ pork chow mein, and ginger beef. The dishes definitely were not authentic Chinese cuisine, but it did its job in filling my stomach. For a place like this, there's not much I should complain in terms of quality standards, since it's probably the best that Steinbach can offer. Service was excellent despite our large table group. Personally, I wouldn't say no in returning if I'm ever back in Steinbach, even though I know there's the lack of authenticity here.
