The menu on the…read morewebsite is also misleading because there was nothing mentioned that a 20 EUR hot pot rate is per head instead of per pot. (There is a mere mention that there must be at least 2 people sharing a pot.) The food was not special in both quality and quantity. The service was very bad. At the time we dined, we were the only table in the restaurant. Yet, we constantly have to walk to the cashier to fetch the waitress. :(

Usually in Japanese ramen, the sliced meat has both lean meat and a bit fatty part and the meat is slow stewed for hours that the fatty part is not tasted oily anymore. Here the meat is dry and seems to quick cook. The bowel seems to be thrown together quickly without any heart went into it when preparing. My friend ordered sushi which is also average. Not that fresh or special tasty The 2 Stars give to the lunch special options(12-5pm Monday-Saturday) so you save a few euro. Otherwise I would just give 1 star if pay 11 Euro for a bad ramen. I noticed most high rating happened in 2015 or before and the waiter also mentioned they changed to use udon in ramen from usual ramen 2 years ago. Maybe the restaurant is taken over by new owner or had a new chef since then and the quality has gone down. We initially planned to go to another sushi restaurant next to it but because they were fully booked, we went to this one. It probably has the reason why this restaurant still had so many empty spots while another one next to it was completely full. Last but not least please any people who run a restaurant, put your heart in when preparing for your food. Such a shame.

I had a decent but forgettable lunch here…read more The jasmine tea was very good and made from loose leaves. The "Popeye salad" consisted of unseasoned, wilted spinach leaves and peanut sauce. It was the kind of thing that makes you think, "Oh, this tastes really healthy," but they definitely could have done more to improve the flavor. Maybe a little salt and pepper at least? I had one of the sushi/sashimi combos, and it definitely wasn't bad. Everything that used real fish was quite good, but I was disappointed that most of the rolls used that artificial, red, pressed crab stick thing. Service was good, and they did have an English menu. I'd give it another try if I were in the area, but I'd make sure I was ordering items with real fish.

There were several different tables for various sized parties. However, many of the tables were reserved, so we got lucky to get a table for 7. Staff: the staff was polite and attentive. They were constantly checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed and were quick to bring our additional orders or drinks. Food: I ordered the equivalent of a sushi deluxe which came with several pieces of nigiri sushi and a California roll. The size of the nigiri was sadly underwhelming. If there's a bite sized version of nigiri, this was close. The California roll was also disappointing as they repeatedly fell apart when I attempted to pick them up. Two of our party ordered Thai specialties and could not eat them. I had a spoonful of it and found it had no taste whatsoever, at least not a pleasant taste. If you have a hankering for sushi, this is not the place to go.
