We talked and I sent him our receipts and photo of the Canadel sticker under the table. He sent Jee to our home and by yesterday it was fixed! Jee had to come back with another young man, so this was a two day adventure BTW. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us! As new owners, I feared you'd tell me sorry, but no, you did not. This table was bought Nov. 2019, and the previous owners sent someone out May 2022, leaving replacement rails in case what he did didn't fix it. Now hopefully it has been rectified properly. Our basement renovation has in 3 months only reached the early drywall stage of what should be a 7-8 week project. After another month of waiting for an update we were told to finish the project ourselves. We have learned since, that Wayne has not been paying the subcontractors. Several of them left mid-job, and Wayne had workers not in the trade finish the work rather than having to pay the subcontractor. Some of the original sub contractors have informed us they will be putting a lien on our house due to non-payment (even when we have paid our bills). Wayne Denman has not reliably answered his phone or emails since the project started in September 2024. In some cases, weeks go by with no response. When he would respond, it would be a false promise that work would soon resume, and the delays were always someone else's fault. We know now that almost every promise he made was a lie. At this point, we have paid our $40,000 deposit and have received no more than $20,000 worth of work. If you remove the invoices/workers he hasn't paid, then he only did around $3000 worth of work, and left. He has been unwilling to return or reimburse any portion of our deposit. In addition to this, we are having to pay extra to fix their work. The entire project felt as though no one from Interiors with Elegance was interested in our basement renovation. We had poor communication, few suggestions for improvements, and very little oversight of subcontractors' work. Wayne subcontracted out the project management, and then in turn refused to let him spend money or hire services. We had to repeatedly ask them to install return air ducts and heat vents. We were told our body heat would be enough, and that return air wasn't necessary in all the rooms. We found out later he just didn't want to hire HVAC services, as his cheaper workers could do the rest. The bathroom was framed too wide and we were informed later that tile could not be installed as the drywall wasn't flush with the shower base. No one from IWE noticed or cared to check. No solutions Wayne has provided for us to complete the basement are reasonable. Lastly, we believe he only took on our project to use our deposit to get himself out of trouble. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with, and would HIGHLY recommend you avoid them.

Wayne STOLE our deposit and used it for other projects, leaving us in a completely demolished house for four months with zero progress. Despite numerous conversations where we expressed serious concerns, he continually reassured us there were just "minor setbacks" and claimed he was working on it. We gave him the benefit of the doubt but remained deeply worried. In January, the only person who had done any work on our home--the demolition--showed up at our door, revealing he hadn't been paid a single cent by Wayne. This was shocking, considering we had already given Wayne a substantial deposit for a full, high-end kitchen renovation. What followed over the next 6-7 months was nothing short of a nightmare. We had to push constantly to get any work done, all while dealing with financial chaos because Wayne had no money. Tradespeople repeatedly showed up demanding payment, claiming Wayne hadn't paid them--despite us having paid him more money along the way to "finish the project." Our kitchen renovation, which was supposed to start on November 1st and be completed by the end of January, wasn't finished until AUGUST. We finally parted ways with Wayne and didn't even leave a review then because we wanted nothing to do with him ever again. UNTIL NOW. Six months later, we received a notice from the electrical company placing a LIEN ON OUR PROPERTY because Wayne STILL hasn't paid yet another trade. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY if you value your sanity and don't want to deal with a DISHONEST, UNRELIABLE, LYING SCAMMER.

Moving and making arrangements to move is stressful enough, hiring a designer I was led to believe would help structure the design elements with the transition. Over promise, under deliver, non-responsive, and putting the client last is my experience with Charlene. I originally started with 3 blind quotes from different vendors, all responded with in a day. I repeatedly had to chase Charlene down after e-transfer $1000 for a retainer agreement. Side note, what reputable business doesn't take credit cards in 2020? I provided a $10,000 budget for blinds, and she blew it by $7000 and had the audacity to charge billable time on top of the margin for their time estimating. After more pestering from my end to do furniture selections Charlene took me to a local manufacture with a bunch of options that didn't match my design esthetic. When I asked about kitchen and furniture (which she told me that she could help me with) she then changed her tune that the only options would be out of my budget. During our meeting she showed me some wall paper that she wants to change me for $300 for the appointment cost that she combined with the lackluster furniture showroom walkthrough. I decided to go to West Elm and Crate & Barrel on my own during the weekend since I had zero proactive support. When I reached out to Charlene if I could use her 20% designer discount she had the audacity to say that I should split it with her to save a misally 10% and pay her a $1000 of it for ZERO effort. DISCUSTING customer relationship management. I have now been billed $600 for services that I received zero value on top off the $6000.00 I spend on two drapes. Main point, Lush Interiors are doesn't care about their clients and Charlene didn't even take the time to respond. Word of mouth, BBB report, I hope your lack of logic and selfishness was worth it.

They've got such a unique selection of products in the store like old grandfather clocks, authentic bird cages, and even old school snow shoes. They've got some paintings for sale, most depicting an older, western scene. You can buy couches, beds, dressers, tables, chairs, blankets, pretty much anything you can think of. You have to special order everything, but you get to pick your stain colour and fabrics as well. I think it's cool that you can kind of custom make your own furniture. The lady working there (perhaps the owner?) was really friendly and eager to offer a hand or answer any questions. She directed me to their website, saying that all their products were online. The funny thing is, you can't order anything from the website, only view what they have. It's a high-priced store, but the goods are all so beautiful! I enjoyed just browsing around at all the neat and interesting things they had in this store. It was really neat!

The customer service at this store is the worst I have ever experienced. In the end after dealing with the back and forth for months, I did get a new cover but it is still not fitting properly and I have never heard back from the store. They sent a third party to install the new fabric and then never bothered to follow up. Horrible customer service and junk product.

What I saw was an eclectic selection of home decoration items, from very unique furniture sets to a hand carved moose head made out of wood on the wall. The designer explained to me that the owner wanted to provide the community with something different, hand selected objects and bigger functional pieces but that were made of quality materials that added an artistic slant to your decor. I saw an amazing thick slab of wood that acted as a wine bottle holder; there were architectural pieces from the turn of the century that were refurbished to a more old meets new hutch or dresser. There were some really nice stained glass pieces and some awesome bowls hollowed out of beautiful pine. The store also has a lower level which carries more of the upholstered items in the store. Prices here are upper end, but I could see the reasoning behind them, as they are not factory made pieces that are churned out for mass production; you are getting a carved wooden moose head that is one of a kind that you won't see at your neighbour's house or any other household in Canada. The place also pairs furniture and objects with visual art from local artisans, there were many lovely original paintings to choose from yet again to provide punch to your decor.
