Terrible experience with Floorscapes which is confusing because they did part of the job as an…read moreinsurance claim and were decent. The only problem that time was they didn't measure correctly and left us with tack strip exposed on our stairs for several days. This time, I had to continuously be the person to contact them for an update. Also, after one date was cancelled because I was working a night shift, the salesman never contacted the installer to cancel. They showed up and woke me. The installed then asked if he could come the following Saturday to do the install to which I agreed. After waiting until noon, on Saturday, I contacted the salesman again to see when they were arriving. He said he'd let me know. The installer called sometime later to say that he had made other plans. This again was never communicated. We will look elsewhere in the future. None of this was ever addressed before asking for the final payment, which was the only prompt thing that I didn't have to initialize the conversation on. No apologies nor adjustment of the final cost for inconvenience.
