The fruits felt almost underripe, with sour strawberries and flavorless mango cubes. The lychee was fine but was barely there. Our rice balls were served hot, which unfortunately made the dessert melt prematurely, leading to an icy, disappointing soup. I'm so glad there is a mango mango open in Katy. I stumbled upon them in Philly almost 2 years ago and then learned they had a location in Cleveland when I still lived in Ohio. It's such a nice, refreshing treat and a great palate cleanser after a rich meal. Their mangos are the best. I seriously need to know where they source from. You can also enjoy the comfort of a hot dessert like the black sesame soup. It comes with substantial mochi balls that are perfectly chewy and a lovely textural contrast to the smoothness of the soup. Pricing is reasonable given the serving size and quality of the ingredients (5-7 dollars typically). This location had recently opened and the staff were the friendliest and most helpful I've experienced across their other locations. Parking is a breeze as well. There are plenty of comfy booths inside and the vibe overall is clean, bright, and cheerful. If you're in Katy or passing through, give mango mango a try. read more

We got the cheesecake and I got the chamomile tea and we were very pleased with what we got. I have never had a chamomile tea like this before. It had dried fruit and flowers in it and was sweet. It had a good flavor but I think next time I'll see if I could get it less sweet. The cheesecake was really good because it was just enough sweet! It had a fluffy layer of cheesecake on top and then another denser layer of it and some sponge cake layers. It was very good. First off, don't leave a tip because the workers don't get the tips. The owners keep the tips for themselves. That said, it's a really cool place with a good selection of desserts. I stopped by Mango Mango and ordered a taro tea for $7. Unfortunately, it was way too sweet--so sweet it tasted like pure sugar, almost undrinkable. I didn't enjoy it at all and asked if I could get one made with less sugar or exchange it for a different tea that was priced lower. Instead of trying to help or offering any kind of solution, they just pointed to a tiny sign in the back of the store that said "no refunds or exchanges." Honestly, that felt like poor customer service. When a customer is clearly unhappy with a drink, especially one that costs $7, there should be some flexibility. I was unable to drink any of this drink unfortunately. I left feeling disappointed and won't be coming back. We tried two drinks today - the cheese foam blush peachy and mango strawberry smoothie-o. They were both delicious and very refreshing. While you can't adjust the sugar levels, they were lightly sweetened and felt just right for us. We also got the strawberry mango juice sago with lychee jelly and mango ice cream. It was a hit with my kids, who fought over it, which made me wish it came in a bigger portion for $8.25. I guess everything is going up in price nowadays though.
