I really like this small Indian restaurant. If you expect something you get in the typical indian restaurant in Europe - the curry really creamy and buttery, the service overy friendly, pricy but well presented so on, you probably better go to the other. I often eat the cheapest chicken-curry here which costs 5 euro, and I love it. it comes with a small salad and rice - it's pretty soupy, but the saltiness, aroma of cumin, cardamon, soft tasty chicken etc.. are just perfect for a light meal like lunch. Not sophisticated or anything, but it tastes really gentle and healthy, which makes me feel relaxed and warm. The portion is quite generous for the price. And if you would like something more authentic, not just normal chicken/rum/veggie curry, you can go down the menu and find very authentic ones, too. You can as well ask for extra spices to the cook if you fancy spicy. The only thing missing is that the naan bread, which is more like chapati here.
And what I like the most in this little place is the atmosphere. I like to come here in the afternoon and have late lunch, then read a book with Chai (love the chai tee. go for it rather than lassi). The old man who runs it - he absolutely leaves you alone, but he has just really friendly and warm air around him. Interior is kind of typical indian-restaurant-like, but more homey and cosy I find. Furnitures and things look quite nostalgic. And it's usually very quiet since most of ppl comes here alone.
P.S Here's quite spacey actually, but if you are looking to bring 10 ppl, it won't fit, because the cook himself serves often alone since this store's not too much known. read more
