Mmm...yum...yum yum yum.
But when I went here today, I had a huge hunger on, so perhaps I was slightly biased. So let's rationalise this, weigh it up and decide on a star rating together...
YES YES YES!
Hellumi kebab - Delicious char-grilled veggies, big fat chunks of hellumi, masses of salad.
Fries - Pretty good, mate.
Falafel and hummus kebab - I am assured by my mum and aunt that this was majorly tasty too.
Portions - Hearty, my friends, hearty! I told you I had a huge hunger on, but even so I couldn't finish my food. Looking forward to leftover hellumi for my lunch tomorrow. :P
Premises - Smarter than any kebab house I remember going to, and we were treated to wiggley jiggley music videos on the TV while we waited for our order.
Service - It was busy in there but we didn't have too long to wait.
NO NO NO!
Service - Service was quick, but the fella seemed slightly disgruntled that I wanted EVERYTHING on my kebab. When he asks what I want and I say "everything", I mean everything. Gimme them chillies, gimme that lemon wedge... Chilli sauce, garlic sauce? Yes please, everything please! Nought wrong with that, is there?
Packaging - Polystyrene all the way. You're making my recycling bin CRY, guys. Please, sort it out!
Scampi - I'm vegetarian so I didn't try this myself, but I'm told it was a bit dry with too much batter and not enough fishy wishy.
So what do we think? What's the score, George Doors? A coupla minus points, but that giant hellumi kebab of deliciousness is still winking at me from the fridge. So how's about ****? Yeah, go on then, let's give it a four. read more
