From start to finish, our experience renting a Jeep with Mike was an excellent one!…read more The phone call to make the reservation was one of our first conversations with anyone in Hawaii - and Mike exuded the calm and happiness we found characteristic of so many Hawaii residents, putting us at ease immediately. Arriving off the ferry from Maui, our Jeep was ready and waiting and he had sent us pics to show us where and where the keys were. The vehicle was clean, worked well and was PERFECT for the bumpy, windy, rocky roads up to Garden of the Gods and the beautiful Polihua Beach. Mike was in touch with us from arriving in Hawaii the day before, to arriving in Lana'i the morning we picked up the Jeep, giving us advice and tips and being available if we needed anything - even though he was off in Maui doing other work. We SO appreciated him being there for us every step of the way! Things to Note: - Book early! Even during the "off" season, vehicles on Lana'i book up quick! - Make sure where you're going is safe and don't try to "off road" too hard through muddy spots - you CAN get stuck and it's costs $$ to get pulled out. (Mikey warned us about this, so we were a-ok!) - Watch out for animals darting across roads! We were warned and we ended up seeing them 3 times. It was a good thing we were aware. The island is just beautiful, and having a Jeep is a GREAT way to see and do as much as possible! We will continue to refer friends to this business for years to come!

Made sure we were well taken cared of prior to our activity. Our tour guides AJ and Maria were awesome. Very thorough regarding safety and how to properly operate the harness and clips needed for the activity. They even kept a watchful eye as we climbed all around the Adventure Tower. Ensuring we were not only having fun but also making sure we were in no danger. To sum it up, it's like a jungle gym on steroids. An array of climbing obstacles consisting of two levels ranging from super easy to extremely difficult on both levels. No two obstacles were the same. HIGHLY recommended activity for the family. Looking forward to doing it again on our next trip to Lana'i!

We originally weren't sure what to expect because several other snorkeling tours around the island had been canceled due to a recent nearby hurricane that had muddied the waters. But Micah and Curtis knew exactly what they were doing. They took the time to find us a beautiful location where the water was clear, calm, and absolutely gorgeous -- and it made all the difference! The snorkeling was AMAZING! We saw so many beautiful fish that we had never seen before, several Hawaiian green sea turtles, and, to top it all off, we were incredibly lucky to see a very rare Hawaiian monk seal! It was truly one of those unforgettable Maui experiences that we'll be talking about for years. Another thing we really appreciated was that Micah and Curtis took photos for us while we were out on the water. It meant we could put our phones away, relax, enjoy the experience, and still have wonderful memories to take home with us. But what really made this tour stand out was Micah and Curtis themselves. They were fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. They didn't just take us out on the water -- they shared recommendations for local restaurants, places to visit, and things to see so we could make the most of our time in Maui. You can tell they truly love what they do and love sharing Maui with visitors. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! If you're visiting Maui, I highly recommend booking with Ohana Ocean Adventures. The incredible snorkeling, beautiful location, amazing wildlife, and two fantastic guides made this one of the highlights of our trip!

Our group had a mix of different experience levels when it comes to kayaking and snorkeling. Some people had never done either, and they were able to take instruction from Kyle and keep up with the rest of the group. Kyle was a fun guide. He did a great job keeping us all safe and finding a pace that worked for everyone in the group. He took photos of each group while we snorkeled, so we all got to go home with photos of us with the turtles. I'd definitely recommend this tour!

If you are celebrating something, celebrate it here. Whether it is a birthday, an anniversary, or…read morestraight up life....you deserve the kind of pampering and luxury at Sensei! Especially if you want to escape the loud and busy city life, Sensei is so peaceful and quiet. If you are searching for serenity, it is here. The only thing you will hear, are the waterfalls and wind through the trees. From the moment you arrive on Lanai, you are greeted by name. This is no average check in, you are invited to sit on their plush couch as they serve you a light refreshment before they bring you the details of your stay. From there, we were personally escorted to our luxurious guestroom. It is bright, crisp, and clean. They provide a keepsake flask and offer filtered water stations throughout the resort. Room "keys" are water proof wristbands, making it easy to lounge in their pool, jacuzzi, or onsens. There's several small outdoor onsens that are nicely landscaped. How convenient that you can identify vacant or occupied on the onsen path marker. Really nice shuttle is available to take you to the city or other Four Seasons resort near Manele Bay. The shuttle service will also take you to their many outdoor activities/experience areas. We opted for clay shooting (separate pictures and review for the Lanai target range.) Probably the only time we really saw other resort guests, was in Nobu for dining. Otherwise, it was sparse in common areas. If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful retreat, this is exactly the place for much needed luxurious spa treatment. All the employees we encountered were very polite and helpful, thank you. Enjoy!

The communication with Sensei before and during our trip was terrible and pretty much non-existent. We stay at Four Seasons resorts often and never have I had an issue with communication like Sensei. The massage tables had cheap sheets that were scratchy; not what I would expect for a $700 massage. The room temperature never got below 70. The miso cod at the restaurant was extremely fishy tasting and not fresh. Pretty disappointing for such a pricy place.

We had a beautiful day and we had three hikes with a total of about five to six miles. Nothing strenuous but amazing views. Had a wonderful lunch in a picnic area in a grove of massive trees. I was a little nervous because it seemed to be a newer company and I couldn't find reviews, but leading up to the day the tour operator (Steven) was super responsive and proactive via text and email, asking and confirming that we were aware of the high altitude of the hike and could do that. The hike itself was amazing - easily my favorite thing I did on my Maui trip. We hit three hikes throughout the day and I can't say enough about Steven's guidance. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so so much about the landscape, nature, history, cultural tidbits, and other stories of the area/what we were seeing. I was super grateful for that because it felt like a thoughtful experience, rather than a generic overdone tour. He was also very good about managing everyone's different hiking skill levels/paces so that folks were comfortable and could go at whatever pace they wanted. It wasn't strict or boring at all. Oh also Steven was so kind in taking pics for people/stopping when there was a good shot. If you're wondering about whether to do this one, definitely go for it! I had an incredible time and while the landscape was absolutely surreal, it wouldn't have been the same experience without this tour. Thanks so much, Steven!!
