I wanted to have a change of hair style, so I let my hair grow to see if I can achieve a slicked back style. After reading blogs and watching videos about the Brazilian blowout, I checked for the closest certified salon to do this treatment. Exclusive Style popped, so I gave them a call to explain my hair situation and what I wanted to achieve. Bindia explained to me that what I wanted wasn't going to work if I did a Brazilian blowout: it would be easy to manage, but not straight as I would like. She recommended the permanent straightening treatment, not only because I was going to be happier but because the results were going to last longer. After figuring out what I wanted to do, I decided to pass by the salon. Bindia had busy day, so she asked me to show up at 8:30 am of the next day. She looked at my hair and told me that the treatment was going to work, she did the same for her son and looked good. This comment made me feel more confident, so I showed up at the scheduled time. After 2 hours of shampooing, drying, putting product and flat ironing, my hair went from having a bird nest to a nice straight hair, you could see the difference half way through the treatment. Bindia and Jazmine made the appointment pleasant, both are friendly, talkative and always with the smile. I feel that they will be the only ones taking care of my hair from now on!

Yep, her hair is a piece of work. Super pretty with tons of product right after a good wash and then it gets all nappy. She's now in middle school and getting ready each morning has been such a hassle. I have to do my hair, her younger sisters and then help her with hers. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a good hair routine which isn't uncommon, she's only 12. Anyhow, a friend of mine suggested having her try out the Yuko treatment. Boy, has this treatment been life changing. My daughter can now manage doing her own hair in the mornings and it's so easy for her to comb. I've tried the keratin treatment on her in the past, which only lasted about a week or so after she washed it out (waste of time/money). However, the Yuko is more permanent and I love it! Yolanda does such a great job and makes sure not to do any damage. She completes the process thoroughly and is very careful. If you are looking to do this treatment make sure you seek out someone with experience and knows what they are doing because there are some real horror stories out there. I gave her 4 stars because I had come in looking for a specific shade of red after seeing all the fun colors she has posted. I showed her a photo for reference and she suggested a dye that would still dye my dark brown hair red without having to bleach first. So we tried it but it didn't take very well and left some areas orange, brown and dark red. She was incredibly willing to fix it and we tried again. She added bleach(?) On a few spots around my head instead of the whole head which I had never seen before so I assumed it was some new way of making this work and then she washed it out and applied the dye onto wet hair (which again I thought was different) and let me sit at the sink for about 20 min. The end result appeared washed out/faded and not evenly colored at all and I would have been happy to live with it as it wasn't terrible but this color needed to be on point for my wedding. I do not want this to be a knock on Jenny what so ever, like I said she was awesome and the cut was perfect, unfortunately tho I had to make the decision to go to another salon to go over her color with the shade I needed.
