After about 6 months after my first haircut with her, and the tips she's provided, my hair is low key thriving! Let's start off with location... She's located downtown Hayward off B Street. Although, parking kinda sucks, and it is the Main Street with so many cars, her place is so cute! Inside her place, there plenty of seating, and a lot of chairs available. For the most part, whenever I go see her, I'm probably the only other client inside - just incase you guys get nervous for Covid reasons. Nancy is so welcoming. She starts off asking you what you want to do with your hair, and she observes and starts framing your face to see if you would like it and gives out suggestions as needed. Then she washes your hair, and then she begins the cut. She's so knowledgable in the industry. She given me helpful advice on how to maintain my hair. For reference, I've always had to wash my hair daily because it's always getting so oily. So she's given me tips on how to prevent it. And after 6 months of following tips, and seeing what works for me, my hair is fuller, healthier, and thriving as I've mentioned. She also sells products in house just in case you want to obtain professional items. I highly recommend her. You won't regret it.

She gave me her honest professional opinion and recommendations, but also made sure to listen to what I wanted and made sure I would love the end result. I've received a full balayage makeover from my box Dyer red hair and I've been repeatedly turned down by multiple salons from being anywhere close to blonde. I was told that I SHOULD NOT attempt to go blonde and wait until I have virgin hair again which comes around once in a life time for us girlies. Hoa reassured my hairs integrity and explained in detailed of the process and she didn't give me any false hopes but ABOVE AND BEYOND. I would like to say that I'm a introverted extroverted type of person but she made me feel so comfortable and worth time getting pampered. We took approximately around 10 hours for my full balayage but time went by so fast with her. She's so kind and attentive, her customer service is definitely top tier as well as her skills. If gatekeeping was still a thing in this time and generation, I'd take it to my grave. She ensured that I would walk out that salon looking real good, the cut and color suited my particular skin tone and everything then I didn't even think of a second doubt. This was my first balayage ever and I'm really happy she was the one to do it while others couldn't. I really love how's she's passionate about her job and she's there every moment of the way for you.

Due to the short pieces at the top of my head that stick straight up, I've had my hair in a ponytail all day as leaving the house with my hair down would look ridiculous. Unfortunately, I've come to find that even in a ponytail, there are patches of 1 - 2 inch strands that stick straight out of the sides of my head. Since I can't wear my hair up now, I will be wearing hats for the next six months while this grows out. This is beyond upsetting and so embarrassing that even a ponytail can't hide this hack job. I've never experienced anything like this. It looks like my 2 year old took scissors to my hair.

KOREAN LASH LIFT WITH AMANDA REVIEW…read more i've been seeing amanda for my lash lifts for several months now, after years of wanting to get them lifted but being too scared bc my eyes are so sensitive, especially after laser eye surgery. my lashes are long but so straight and without curling them i look so sleepy. i also don't wear makeup so this is the main "makeup-y" thing i do. but curling them everyday with a lash curler, having to use mascara that make my eyes itch and them not lasting in hot humid weather was a pain and time suck hassle. amanda is so gentle and careful with her technique, i experienced absolutely no irritation (surprisingly!) with any of the several sessions and after a few sessions have found my ideal curl shape. i just got them done again yesterday, woke up to seeing them curled perfectly in the mirror and i am so happy! i drive all the way from oakland just to have her do them for me every 6 weeks. i'm so happy to support a genuinely caring and skilled person, the drive and time spent is well worth it. plus she has so many cute decorations and treats for her clients to enjoy, i love the novelty and professionalism of it all. thanks amanda !

My hair is long, but it isn't completely straight like most common Asian hair. My hair had gotten to the point where I really needed a trim to get rid of a lot of the split-ends, but I didn't have time to drive all the way into SF (where I use to live before moving to Hayward) just to visit my usual hairdresser/stylist.
