Her studio is a convenient space to change. She's incredibly cleanly with using new Wands and makeup tools when applying makeup. She's efficient and creative - I have very short fine hair and she managed to make a beautiful low hanging bun that I loved. She even designed a new bindi for me on the spot by combining two of them together (took the beading jewel off of one bindi to add to a pink plain bindi that matched my outfit). She's friendly and she's responsive. I was self conscious about my looks after some weight gain and the 100 F heat wave, but that was unnecessary since the makeup stayed on the whole night and I received so many compliments and felt like a million bucks. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE INTEGRITY OF YOUR HAIR..... I would give 0 stars if I could. I am VERY meticulous when it comes to my hair. I take extremely good care of it, and I went in with healthy hair and a very obtainable goal. I showed Diana exactly what I wanted, a highlight with lowlights/paint between to blend my greys. Simple. Achievable. Nothing extreme. My hair looks NOTHING like what I asked for and it is absolutely FRIED. I am disgusted, if you can't do something to someone's hair..DON'T SAY YOU CANNNN. I even asked her if she used 40 volume bleach because I could literally see the bottle when she poured it. She told me no, and I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, especially because when I called beforehand, the owner assured me I was "in good hands." Clearly I was very wrong. There was NOTHING good about this experience. Honestly, I should have gotten up and walked out the second she started foiling my hair because the entire process was chaotic and careless. There was absolutely no respect for the condition or integrity of my hair. As a cosmetologist, the #1 priority should ALWAYS be preserving the integrity of the client's hair. PERIOD. And it got worse. When she did the paint between, she MATTED my hair. Not a little tangled... MATTED. I could physically feel her ripping my hair out while taking foils out at the shampoo bowl. It was completely unacceptable. I was supposed to get it cut but at this point I just had to leave. On top of that: - Before my service even started, she used a bleach/color bowl that STILL had leftover color from another client in it. Huge sanitary violation. - During the service, she knocked over her entire tray, bowl of bleach, color, brushes, EVERYTHING onto the floor... then picked it all back up and CONTINUED USING IT. I am absolutely mortified. I cried to my husband over this because that's how devastated I am about my hair. It has taken me YEARS to grow and maintain healthy long hair, and now I'm dealing with severe breakage, frizz, mushy overprocessed pieces, and damage that could have been completely avoided with proper care and professionalism. Due to the extent of the damage and the corrective services now required, I will be exploring my legal options, including filing a small claims case for damages and repair costs.

Belle is amazing!…read more I've been a loyal customer to my stylist for almost eight years and I've followed her every time she moved to different locations... that is, until I met Belle and it's byeeeee, Kim! Both salons are located in Roseville. I walked in one day at this salon after coming from work hoping to just get a haircut as a walk-in. See, I only get a haircut twice a year (maybe a rare 3 times)... I get a short cut and let my hair grow out until it comes time for another cut. The problem is when you're old, like me, it's hard to hide those grays! LoL! I like my silvers in dollars, not hair. I had been wanting to try this salon every time I stop by the Oriental Store on Harding Blvd. There's a big banner on the wall on the building next to the market advertising "Filipina" hairstylists. Well, none of the Filipina stylists were in the premises when I walked in and I was given a business card to make an appt. I called that same day late in the afternoon to see if I could get in and yay! Merle could accommodate! When I came in I happened to get Belle! She thought I was her 4:45p so she took me to her station. Then another lady walked in waiting for Belle and she was the correct 4:45p... she ended up with Merle. I guess it's easy to confuse a "May" and "Amy." It's okay, though, they're sisters and I didn't mind the trade. My plan was to just get a cut then do the color another time with my original stylist, Kim. This always happens to me when I sit on the chair... I get convinced to do other styling services after quoting me a deal I couldn't refuse. So I said okay to cut, color, highlights, and style. I've never had so much work and pampering done to my hair which I don't really give any fuss about. I don't really like spending 2 hours or more in a salon. Belle did all of it in such a short time (less than 2 hours) and I was impressed with the magic she did to my otherwise boring style. Thank you so much, Belle!
