At my last visit I submitted my sample, was called back to see the doctor and was given my refills and a referral for therapy. Set up an appointment for the next month and went home. Three weeks later the clinic calls me & says I tested positive for another medication that they didn't prescribe me & that I can't see that doctor anymore. I told them that's impossible because I only take what they prescribed me. They wouldn't listen to me or believe me. So now I'm without help, without medication all because someone didn't do their job right. There's no possible way I had anything else in my urine. I wish I could get them to retest me, do a hair follicle, anything to prove I'm correct and they are wrong.

I had no prior knowledge that I needed to bring it until I showed up for the appointment. I was asked to go home for it and my appointment would be rescheduled. I feel the entire situation was very unfair. Multiple times I called asking for call backs and they never happened. This situation resulted in me leaving the clinic for another one. I informed this clinic and they couldn't care less. Since leaving I have not been contacted by this clinic. I'm glad that I left it. I do give the doctor I saw credit for changing medication and making recommendations that worked. I'm appreciative of the help and advice. However being turned away over something I had no prior knowledge of is pretty lame. No communication with the clinic I had brought it up. Even a conversation the day before my appointment. No text message brought it up. I had important information to share with the doctor pertaining to my medical records that was ignored. The information was related to a diagnosis of autism. I feel completely justified in how I responded to this situation. I couldn't even speak with the clinic director. This all felt deliberate.

I finally left 2 1/2 hours later. They don't respect your time. When the doctor finally met me, he insulted my glasses. He also didn't ask my goals for the appointment. Multiple times I had to correct him that I was not interested in glasses, I wanted contacts. I also received an an incorrect prescription. The prescription gave me a headache, which I told them about. They told me to try it out and it might have just been because I waited long. I still have a headache after multiple attempts of trying the new prescription. They also made numerous clerical mistakes and called me multiple times when I said I would be busy. They called me multiple times to confirm. I returned their call a few hours later, but they continued to call because they made a mistake copying my insurance down which I confirmed with them a week prior. I noticed several other mistakes they copied wrong. I'm not sure if they are even trying. I would go somewhere else.

OTOH, when I came to him because I woke up with terribly blurred vision he sent me to an Eye Clinic for a more in-depth examination, and when they could not find the cause he sent me to a retinolologist who found that I had suffered a stroke in my eye. This is just a platform for honest opinions of places. The staff were not inviting and next time we will not make this place our eye care choice. Besides that.. I was in and out fairly fast.

I suffered a back injury last year that initially seemed to improve, but several months later the…read morepain returned. Since then it has progressively worsened, especially over the last six months. Because of circumstances outside my control, I had to delay seeking medical care. When I was finally referred to a spine specialist, I chose Dr. Nwojo's office because of his education and experience. Scheduling was frustrating from the beginning. After my referral was sent, it took over a week for the office to contact me. Then, the day before my appointment, I was told they needed my MRI images and that the appointment couldn't proceed without them. I had to scramble to obtain the imaging and reschedule. I don't understand why this wasn't communicated when the appointment was originally made. When I arrived, I was seen by a nurse practitioner rather than Dr. Nwojo. I understand that many practices use NPs, but I left feeling that once it was determined I was not a surgical candidate, the focus shifted almost entirely to explaining why surgery wasn't an option instead of trying to determine why I was experiencing progressively worsening neurological symptoms. Throughout the visit, I asked what was causing my symptoms, whether they were consistent with my lifting injury, why they had worsened, and whether they were likely to continue progressing. The answers were largely that it was "possible," "hard to say," or "I don't know." I understand that medicine doesn't always provide definitive answers, but I left without a clear explanation for why my condition had changed so significantly. One comment that stood out was that if imaging had been obtained immediately after the injury, they may have been able to say more. Unfortunately, that wasn't my choice. My employer denied coverage for the injury, and I couldn't afford to pursue imaging on my own at that time. What disappointed me most was leaving without a clear plan to investigate the neurological symptoms that brought me there. My recommendations were medications, physical therapy, and possibly pain management. Those may be appropriate treatments, but they didn't answer the questions I came seeking help with. I paid for this visit out of pocket and traveled to Odessa hoping to better understand what was happening to my back. Instead, I left feeling discouraged and still searching for answers. I was polite and respectful throughout the appointment, but I left feeling that my concerns had not been fully addressed.

Before seeing Dr. Brown I was having repeated seizures. He helped me find a medication that controlled them and gave me back a life. Recently I had to change medications (due to other health problems) and I am not as happy with it as the other one....but I feel like Dr. Brown is looking out for my best interest. Whoever you are....you certainly have a right to your opinion....but so do I. I disagree with the titles you chose for Dr. Brown. And rather than think age is a bad thing....I like to think of it as being experienced. I feel bad that you are having continuous medical problems. I know that it can be very frustrating.....and even depressing....it depressed me! I don't think that is a cause for seizures but it can sure make me more susceptible. If you are truly unhappy with Dr. Brown.....get another doctor. Like I said, I have been with him for over 10 years and think he is a fine doctor. Good Luck!

After my original sonogram appointment was canceled at another facility, I called Anthus and spoke to Alice who was so sweet and accommodating. She was able to make some calls and get me in that afternoon. When we arrived, we were greeted by so many kind people and felt so welcomed. Our sonographer was amazing and took extra time to get some good pictures of our wiggle worm. I really can't recommend Anthus enough! I look forward to using them for more of my pregnancy needs!
