Instead of spending tons of money in the spa in our hotel, we tried the day spa that was across the street. There are a few to choose from and prices are negotiable.
The masseuse are really good. I have no complains about the massage. My friend and I got massages and we shared a room. She got a guy and I got a girl. Towards the end of the massage, it got cold for me. There was only a very thin sheet.
We came back because we wanted treatments. My friend wanted to try the chocolate wrap and I just want an algae treatment. I have no complains about the treatments, it left our skin very soft. I felt like I should have had a facial with it.
There are not sheets to be covered with, only disposable undies. It felt very cold again half way into the treatment. I even asked if they could turn off the air. The girl doing my treatment told me that they had no air. So I guess it was very drafty. My poor friend was shaking (we were in the same room as before).
We were there in February, so it wasn't super hot, but it would have been nice if they had heaters in the massage rooms, specially because temperature drops when you are getting a massage.
Another issue we had with this place, is that my friend got charged double. She had to call her bank. read more
