This is my regular dry cleaners due to convenience, I've only experienced one incident where my tux was creased although the coat didn't have any folds. Today was different, customer service is non existent. The work it's not perfect but it'll do. Definitely time to possibly reconsider for a new dry cleaning service. This did not make or break the use of this location, good to share experience for expectations. I will say, drop off by 9 and get back same day after 5 works really good for me and others. I guess that they did ok with my military uniforms. The major complaint is that the pockets weren't pressed clean/flat/smooth as I had requested. I had to bring uniform home and press out the wrinkles myself. Otherwise... nice friendly staff. All else was well. read more

Run to the furthest dry cleaning location you can get to away from Manchester! My husband's NEW Polo shirt was ruined after I dropped it off to be cleaned. I spoke to a very sweet employee who told me she would address it with the manager and for me to bring the shirt along with the receipt for him to look at. When I called the next day to follow up with the owner he was rude, condescending, accusatory, and spoke over me every time I attempted to explain to him that the shirt was not in this condition when I brought it in. He refunded me $25 on a shirt I paid $110. Of course, we have no intention of ever patronizing this business again and after reading this review I hope others avoid it as well. read more

CRITICAL: Professionalism, Quality, Poor Customer Service By far the WORST customer service/quality experience I have ever encountered in my entire life. Not only are they overpriced for the quality of the clothes but they have also broke my buttons several times and damaged my jacket zipper. Then, I had to pay extra to have them fix the mistake they caused. The Manager at this location by the name of Alejandra-Description(Heavy Set, Hispanic, Female) is extremely rude and unprofessional. Her customer service skills are 0 out of 10. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. After a horrible and unprofessional customer service experience with the Manager Alejandra, I requested the clothes be returned to me that I had just paid for to get cleaned and a full refund of the money. The Manger Alejandra cursed me and said she would not do a return and did not know how to do a return. In my opinion NO one should be in a Manager Role and NOT have a full understanding of how to operate the system fully. I had to wait several days until the Store's owner was in to get my full money refund. The store's owner, Tom, was very professional and understanding of the situation. Still, the Manager Alejandra under him should not be in a Manager Role, and Alejandra will be the reason this company losses money and customers. Anyone can be a Manager, but everyone can't be taught People Skills. The Manager Alejandra is a perfect example of this. A company should NEVER treat a paying loyal customer as dirt. I would rate my experience at this company from 0-10, with 0 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. I would give them a NEGATIVE -5. Beware of this location and your clothes getting damaged, then you must pay extra for their mistake to fix it. After the customer service experience with Manager Alejandra and reading the reviews on Google, I now understand why this company has a 2.8/5 Star rating review. Honestly, I'm surprised it was able to reach 2.8 after my personal experience. In my opinion, there are a lot of other great cleaners in this location with better prices, quality, and customer service experience. If you want to be treated like an animal and experience horrible customer service then this would be a Great Place for you and your family to do business!! I would NEVER step foot back in this company even if it was the last cleaners on Earth. Now to end on a POSITIVE note. The company's owner, Tom can still make a change and improve the company moving forward with better training, starting with the Manager Alejandra or hiring new people who value and have HIGH customer service skills and are naturally people-friendly. I would never recommend this company. The owner is rude and unprofessional. They clearly burnt two of my family's shirts and blamed us, insinuated we were lying and caused the stains ourselves. He was insulting and extremely unprofessional. He would not acknowledge their error or do anything to replace the shirts. Do not risk taking your clothes here. read more

WARNING - Avoid this place if you are looking for good, friendly service! I have used these people for well over 3 years, and RARELY (note, I didn't say NEVER) have an issue. However, today I picked up my clothes. When I got home, I noticed one of my garments said "No Clean". When I looked at the receipt, sure enough, it states they did not clean the dress because they did a bleed test and the colors would bleed. They have cleaned this dress for me well over 20 times, so I found this irritating, not to mention they did not bother to tell me and instead, sent me home with one item not cleaned. I called the store and the manager, Asian guy who sits on his ass in the office, answered. I explained the situation and he states that the did a bleed test and I would have to sign a waiver if I wanted them to clean it. Um, excuse me, you've cleaned this dress over 20 times and I have NEVER had an issue with it bleeding nor have I EVER had to sign a waiver to have it cleaned. Obviously I am annoyed because I would have to drive back up there and have them clean the dress, and I stated just this to him. I further stated I feel they should clean it for free for neither bothering to tell me about it plus wasting my time and gas. I further stated I would take it there and if they couldn't prove to me that it bleeds, then I fully expect it to be free of charge. He then states "Dont come back at all!" You got it, JERK!! If that's how you treat customers, rather than training your employees properly, I'll take my business elsewhere and let everyone I know about how you treat people! The worst customer service ever. They left a brown mark on my white coat that looks like a burn mark and tried to say that it came from inside my pocket. And my coat was still dirty and grungy afterwards. I've had much better cleanings, even straight out of my own washing machine. The owner is beyond rude when asked about stains. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I have been going there since 2008 and they ruined a brand new dress today. When I spoke with Tom, whom I am assuming is the owner, he could have cared less. He said they followed the care tag and that's all they can do. I admit I was extremely angry and didn't hide it. They insist they dry cleaned it but it was obvious that it had been washed due to the black being faded and bleeding onto the white cuffs and collar. When it was obvious he didn't care and wasn't going to compensate me for the amount of the dress I told him I would have to look into suing him for compensation. At this point he laughed in my face and said he didn't care. After reading reviews on other sites I can only assume he is used to being threatened. Despite horrible customer service in the past I kept coming here and truly regret it now. I had no choice but to accept a $50 compensation which isn't even half the cost of the dress due to it being "depreciated", WTF? The girls at the front always look like they just rolled out of bed and could care less. Their "convenient" drive through is closed when it is cold or raining because apparently it is more important for the staff to not get cold than for it to actually be convenient for the customer. Really, I'd like to give -2 stars, but I can't. My husband used to go here because he loves ManU and thought the service was good. I came here once and it was horrible. But because everything wasn't all bad: the people at the front desk are nice enough, it claims to be less toxic (but who can really prove that), and the soccer theme is cute. Now the bad: I received back some trousers several small holes and discoloration that were not there when I dropped them. I was irritated but I can understand accidents happen. I take them back and the man who's the manager says they didn't do that. Say whaa?? I tried to explain that the holes and weird color weren't there when I dropped them off, and he says it was probably a shoe heel that wore a hole. When I explained the hole is on the FRONT of the pants and impossible for a heel to damage, he got a blank stare then again tried to explain it was impossible they could've damaged the pants. After about 10 minutes of back and forth with this man, I gave up. All of this to say, don't take your clothes here. I understand if you accidentally mess up, but to take no responsibility and not even entertain the fact that your customer could be right is ridiculous. Worst service ever. read more

I dropped garments to be cleaned, and the day I was supposed to pick up the closed early without notice. I was not able to pick up garments until a week later because I was gone for business. When I got there I told them I had an issue paying full price for my inconvenience. I was basically told TS our issue was bigger than yours. I was understanding of them having to close early because a family issues, but they had no compassion that I was inconvenienced at all. I wish there was a way to give negative stars. I have used this dry cleaner for years and very rarely complain, but their customer service is the absolute worst! They have a drive thru, but if the weather slightly changes they close it or they're all on their cell phones sitting in a corner and not lying attention. Very rarely do you a get a smile much less a thank you. Today after waiting at the drive thru for someone to notice me for 5 minutes (they never did and I had to honk the horn) they couldn't find my clothes. I waited another 12 minutes while they searched only to have someone then to tell me how I owed. No sorry for the wait or thank you. I finally complained to the owner/manager who initially said it was because they were really busy. No sir I was the only customer for a while to which he replied "oh well...sorry about that". Until this week, I have generally been happy with Manchester Cleaners. But this week when I picked up my casual wool jacket, I was very disappointed that the jacket was frayed & fuzzed, apparently from the dry cleaning process. I spoke to the person in charge (not sure if he was the manager), and he was totally belligerent and claimed there is no way the damage could have been caused by their equipment, or by anyone else's items that might have been washed at the same time as my jacket. For consumers looking for a dry cleaning business there are about 5 different dry cleaning companies within a 3 mile radius if this place. I HIGHLY recommend that you choose one of those other businesses than this one. If there was an option for half a star this business warrants it. I brought my comforters in to be cleaned thoroughly, not because they smelled bad but because my girlfriend is a stage 4 cancer patient who is very susceptible to infection. Due to her declining health status I decided to have everything she would be in contact cleaned properly to avoid the possibility of infection. I took a quilt and comforter to be cleaned here and when I picked them up 3 days later they smelled HORRIBLE!!!! It smelled as if someone put them in a hot room in a plastic bag with dirty feet while they were still wet. I had to put them in the garage to avoid stinking up my house. Called the company and went round and round with the manger - Jason, who did not want to admit guilt, rather claimed that they were brought to him smelling that way. He stated that they cleaned them twice but could not get he smell out. Finally came to the agreement that if I could personally get the smell out then he would give me a full refund. Threw them in the washing machine with some gain and some snuggles and magically the smell was gone. The next day brought the blankets in for the guy to "sniff" them (how ridiculous is that?). Spoke with the owner this time who stated that yes they smelled better but he would not refund me my money. I explained to him that the manager said that he would give me a full refund to which he replied "I'm the owner. I have the final say. I can fire that guy any time if I wanted." Verbatim people! That is what this guy said. After arguing with this guy about bad business etiquette and having him respond to me with profanity and referring to me as "dude" multiple times he finally said he would give me half of what I paid. I don't think this was right, horrible way to speak to customers especially if a service that was promised fell very short of what was expected. This company falls short on many levels of what a business is suppose to be. Not only was the job not well done but the response from the employees and owner were far from professional and acceptable. There is a pilgrim cleaners, onsite cleaners, and dry cleaners deluxe just right around the corner. Save yourselves the money and your laundry and take your business there. read more
