I moved to the area almost three years ago and have been using Man Cave ever since. Savanna is my normal stylist and she does an excellent job. She pays attention to detail during the cut and eyebrow wax. (Yes, I get my eyebrows and ears waxed.) she's also very proficient and friendly. From time to time, I have a hair affair and Jody cuts my hair....she's the bomb too. The place is cool, clean and moderately priced. You can get a coffee and I think a beer, too. That's cool. Terrible appointment system in place. You are allowed a five minute grace period to arrive for an appointment. The past two times I have arrived early for appointments and still had to wait over 10-15 minutes past my appointment only to finally get up and request my appointment to be cancelled. I did not request a certain stylist, the appointment booker picked one not sure why they don't just put you in for whoever is first available. So do not make appointments just walk in for faster service. read more

I tried this place because it had such good review. Should have paid attention to when the reviews were made. It's a nice place and the people are nice. I just had a bad experience. The hair cut was really quick and I was surprised when she was done. It looked fine while it was wet until I got home and realized each side is different lengths and the front and back of my hair is extremely uneven. A 25 dollar haircut should be a little better than that I'd think. Everyone that worked there appeared like they were straight out of high school, which I was fine with because I was giving them the benefit of the doubt because the person that cut my hair said she had 11 years of experience. Be sure to get the full man cut for the hot towel and head massage - its just like my old barbershop used to be like. Four shampooing stations with reclining, massage chairs while facing a deer mural is a cool touch. Satellite TV to watch too.
