As an Asian-American, I have very straight and thick hair, where not many people are crafted to fade and cut my type of hair without it being very uneven or getting blades caught, but Emily has perfected the art of my hair and never fails to continue the works. Also, she uses a straight razor for my hard part, which I like because it lasts longer. It feels so nice that they will shampoo out your hair (included with the cut) and provide a hot towel for your face, just for an extra pamper. I used to live 25 minutes away from this location, but now go to Ole Miss (1.5 hours away), but it is so worth the drive since I can't trust other barbers in the area. It is very convenient and accessible to make an appointment with my preferred stylist. Students - they also offer student discounts!

I had heard good things about this place and we loved the banter and atmosphere. My son is 9 and isn't a fan of having his haircut. He's great to sit still and be respectful but he'd rather be playing xbox, of course. Even a week later he was STILL telling me how much he loved his haircut. It was a little pricy for my 9 year old at $29 but understandable since I believe his hair takes just as long to cut as an adults. Going back will be a treat at that price for him but we will DEFINITELY be back. Bring cash and give yourself time to wait. This is a barber shop not your mamas house. Be respectful and it will be returned. These men traditionally serve whoever comes in first. Thanks Chris!!

My instructions were for a regular cut, short, taper the back close, and shave my neck, and behind my ears with a straight razor. I don't remember that the barber used a straight razor, but I do remember, vividly, that the price was $40 (definitely a high point). So I determined not to patronize this business again.
