Because I have long hair " a whole haircut" pricing for cutting half a inch and only half of my sides we're supposed to get a skin faded and I still had to pay 65$ USD, they couldn't even do a hairline or a beard trim, unless I made a new appointment with another barber? I made an appointment with Baron's because I needed a last minute cut, and my go-to barber elsewhere was booked. I had a super simple online booking experience, and did need to use my wife's card to hold the appointment. My cut with Corrie was great, she did an awesome job listening to what I needed, and made it happen! It was great chatting with her during my cut. The atmosphere was great, facilities were clean and upbeat, and I was offered a beverage. At the time of payment, I was able to present a different card to pay. They cut my eyebrows off once when I wanted to get a wax. They literally shaved them off with no guard on the clippers. After the lady saw what she did she walked off and I sat in the chair for a good 5 minutes before I got up and left. Not only that but I paid and then decided that they did such a bad job that I called to get a refund, the front desk lady tried to say that they aren't going to refund me so I had to call my credit card company to issue a dispute. It's about time that I review Baron's. I've been going here for nearly 2 years BUT every time I go is like I'm a new customer. By this, I mean that I'm treated so SO well and always come out happy. I've made friends with the staff (quite quickly) and love every experience--from the beer to the music to the cut. I drive 1.5 hours just for this place, so it's obviously pretty special. Very poor experience with this company! My husband has been a loyal customer for over 7 years and after our experience today he will NOT be back! My husband had an unforeseen circumstance come up at work and could not make the appointment time. After speaking with the staff they were very unprofessional and told him they were going to charge him half ($35 LATER). He asked to reschedule or move the time slot 30 minutes out and they told him he was out of luck. Very unprofessional! Please take your business elsewhere. Niaya is the best part of Baron's man cave. She gives the best haircuts and is very friendly and outgoing. I used to go to Epic Salon and Gould's and as long as Niaya is at BMC I will be going to get my hair cut there. Niaya has been cutting my hair since her first couple of weeks and I won't switch to any other person there, especially Brian. Hiring Niaya was a smart choice. The price for a haircut is reasonable. The prices on the clothes and the products are outrageously high. Also the free beer while I get my hair cut is a really smart marketing idea. Keep it up!! I appreciate it. *** I've had mixed experiences here, but was extremely dissatisfied with my last visit. I had an appointment with Sarah, who was awesome! Gave me a great haircut, and was friendly and professional. But my son was in the next chair getting a haircut from Don who was absolutely awful. I was really so stunned by it at the time that I didn't say anything and didn't know what to say anyway. I didn't see anyone that appeared to be a Manager on duty, either. Anyway, Don's "greeting" was beyond unenthusiastic and he honestly looked bleary eyed like maybe he had just been asleep? He only grunted short one word answers to me, and literally never responded to my son who was talking to him during the haircut. My son's hair is longish and parted on the side, but this looked like a straight-down bangs bowl-cut mullet. When I asked him at the end if he could style it a little or put product in it, he blasted one spray of HAIRSPRAY on it and didn't so much as touch the hair. The haircut was AWFUL. It literally looked the way doll hair looks when a kid CHOPS at it with blunt scissors. We took him the next day to Pigtails and Crewcuts who managed to make it look passable. I can't believe I left without saying anything but my anger was rising internally and like I said I didn't see anyone I felt I could speak to about it. I don't know if the receptionist is going to be of any help or even relay it to someone so I didn't bother. Again, Sarah was great, and I've had great previous visits, too. It looks like I've been going here for 2 years now, and I can't imagine going anywhere else at this point. It's pretty far out of the way for me, a little pricey, and you need an appointment with most stylists... but it's worth it. Janie is my regular stylist. I think she knows my hair and hairstyle better than I do at this point. I always get the signature cut and beard trim, and she takes her time with both. She's easy to talk to, and it's just a very relaxing experience on top of a great haircut. They also have a nice range of hair products, especially the Reuzel pomades and Proraso beard oil. The market space has also expanded over time with some clothing and accessories. The waiting area is comfortable and there's always something to read or watch. Check them out! read more

This is a partial review for now, trying out just a simple beard trim. The plan was to try this service, and if good I'd be back to experience the whole place. Well, Hershalt did a fantastic job! Went in with a scruffy looking beard and came out with awesomeness! While sitting in his chair and looking all around I was already wishing I had booked some of the other services and could just make an afternoon of it. The beard trim price was pretty reasonable. The other services do as well, though it's things I normally don't do, so it would still hit the wallet a little, so let's call it moderate pricing overall. Got my haircut by Amanda, who was friendly and did a good job with my hair cut plus a great conversationalist. But I was trying to get her to understand that I needed my beard and moustache not only trimmed but also shaped a little bit,smooth out any stragglers and thin the overall width of my stache and tidy it up.
