I found out it has been there since the 40's and on its 4th owner who sees the simplicity of a barber shop. Price is great, only $17 for the cut (most places are charging $45-$55) for a man's haircut which if you are getting a simple fade that is outrageous. They do take card and are open 7 days a week. Glad I found this spot in town and will be my regular for my son and I!!

If requested, they will use a straight razor to shave the hair off of your face, scalp, and/or neck. Be sure to book an appointment, as this location sometimes gets filled and busy with walk-in customers. (There's a phenomenal ice cream shop located right next door. But this place is open until 6pm. Had the pleasure of having my hair cut very well by Christopher, the owner. He's only there on Saturday because he works a full time job. He's a very pleasant fellow and he did since job - attention to detail by trimming my eyebrows and cutting where the hair grows down my neck, then wipes with a scented towel. I'm used to paying $15, so the $20 was an adjustment- but that's ok because I also think my hair looks better than it did when I paid $15. Bottom line - I look forward to returning. Every time I find someone that cuts my hair well, they disappear. I get a fade and my hair can be difficult. I'd recommend Janie Moore here. All I can do is review my haircut and she did an excellent job with care. Also was able to snag a same day appointment. My guess is this isn't the norm. It's not a cheap cut, so just prepare for that and you can book appointments on their website. I know it can be hard to get a good fade in town and I can't speak to others cutting here, but I'd definitely check it out if you're looking.
