I repowered my boat with them two years ago and was very happy with the work. More recently, they serviced my boat, including changing the impellers, lower-unit oil, and a few other things. They did a great job and even uncovered a problem that could have caused me some serious issues down the road. Overall, I'm very happy with them. They're definitely pricey, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend them.

Disappointing Purchasing Experience - And in my opinion shady business at Legacy Marine in Stuart…read moreFlorida!! We entered into a purchase agreement with Legacy Marine for a 2024 Tidewater 272 LXF, placed a deposit, and traveled to Florida for the inspection and sea trial from NW Arkansas. Unfortunately, the condition of the vessel was so disappointing and not at all what it was portrayed to be from Kevin the salesman. Our independent marine survey identified numerous concerns, including inoperable equipment, corrosion, significant amount of rust, mineral deposits, and other maintenance-related issues. This was after he said that the boat had been inspected by them and everything checked out great. Given the boat's age and purchase price, we expected a much higher standard of condition and preparation before it was offered for sale. Based on the survey findings and our personal observations, we made the decision not to proceed with the purchase. While we appreciate the return of our deposit, the time, travel expenses, and cost of the survey could have potentially been avoided with greater transparency regarding the vessel's condition. The video call that was done definitely avoided the areas of concern that were clearly noticeable once at the location. I strongly encourage prospective buyers to obtain an independent marine survey (and just a heads up I would hire someone outside of the immediate area) before purchasing, regardless of the age of the boat or the hours. DO NOT TAKE THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS!!! Lastly I would respectfully reiterate do your homework and research on what you're buying and confirm this information. My gut instincts saved us from making a huge mistake buying anything from them. I have pictures to back up my findings as well as the survey!!
