I was honestly surprised to see some of the negative comments from years past, because our experience with Manassas Pediatrics has been consistently positive for nearly 17 years. My son has been a patient at the Gainesville office since birth. While Dr. Flowers and Dr. Granados have moved on (both very good physicians)), we continue to see Dr. Flynn, who is attentive, supportive, and takes time to truly listen. We never feel rushed, and she is thoughtful about addressing the specific reason for our visit, not just the annual wellness exam. From fevers as a baby and earaches they acted on immediately, to school sports fractures and contusions, and even follow-up surgery recovery exams, they have truly been through it all with us. At every stage of infancy, childhood, and now the teen years, we have felt supported and well cared for. The staff works hard to schedule appointments that fit our family's schedule, which has always been appreciated. When my son was a newborn, I especially appreciated that the waiting room was divided, giving parents the option to sit separately from children who might be there with fever-related or contagious illnesses. We are grateful for the consistent, attentive care, clean exam rooms, and the small touches that make visits easier for kids -- they're always offered a sucker or popsicle at the end. We love Manassas Pediatrics! Well, my toddler can be iffy, but that's toddlers for you. We typically see Dr. Alfaysale who gives excellent guidance in the kindest way possible. We have also seen and enjoyed Dr. Flowers. The nursing staff is exceptional--each is kind and very patient with our little one who HATES being measured (more than shots!). Every appointment feels like it's the right amount of time--not rushed and not like we have been there forever. :) The Gainesville office is extremely clean. They have multiple rooms and their waiting area is broken into two sides so there is plenty of space. read more

Dr. Alfaysale and Dr. G are amazing and have great skill in building rapport with patients, unfortunately, I can't say the same about the rest of the NPs and Drs. I have noticed they do not take the time to go through any history or visit summaries before seeing my kids which just makes for rushed appointments that are redundant. Overall, they are very convenient and always have same day appointments and the nurses are great with the kids and would overall recommend this practice. read more

Surprised to see the negative reviews for this office. That has not been our experience. We switched here about 2 years ago from Haymarket Pediatrics after several negative experiences there, and have had no issues since switching. They are always able to fit us in for appointments, the doctors are all lovely, and they've caught issues that urgent care has missed. read more

This practice is inaccurately poorly rated on Yelp. My mother worked for this practice many years ago and Dr. Granados was my doctor growing up and is now my kids' doctor. He has always gone above and beyond in his care for me and my family. The office staff is prompt and professional. I will recommend this practice to anyone looking to bring their kids from infants up to the beginning of adulthood. Dr Granados has always said "thank you for your trust". He takes that very seriously and I will forever be grateful for his care. read more

If I could give Dr. flower negative star as I would. all she does as a doctor is gaslight her patients and is just worried about how much shit will cost. i've been going here for years and adored the staff and Dr.Alt , but unfortunately I won't be returning back. terrible experience today. had an appointment at 1 o'clock, was there 15 minutes prior like they asked, waited for an hour for them just to tell me the vaccinations I needed will be to paid out-of-pocket because Dr. flower didn't want to answer her phone. The front desk lady was kind enough to make me an appointment at CVS to go get these vaccinations. absolutely unacceptable.. considering I had this appointment two weeks prior to today. read more

Apathy, disinterest, lack of professionalism are all words that come to mind when I think of this office. Made an appointment for my three young children only to show up and find out they had cancelled the appointments with notifying us. They said they tried to call us once but no one answered. They have our email or they could of tried calling again. When we were at the office it was empty in the waiting room, with two front desk staff. But yet they had the audacity to say we too busy to try and contact you a second time if you don't answer and its our policy not to send emails for cancelled appointments. Simply unbelievable from an office which is suppose to take care of our most precious children. read more

I have taken my kids to Manassas pediatrics for 8 years. Our last visit was 6 months ago but we have since moved. We have never requested our files be forwarded. However we recently called requesting a referral for our daughter's yearly cardiologist check up and they declined our request saying we were inactive. So I guess if you are healthy and don't go to see the Dr within 6 months your deemed inactive and they are unwilling, after 8 years of care, to help my daughter with a heart condition. Horrible staff is everything I have to say about them. I was a bit late because my kid was in school and I have work. I walked in and the office ladies we talking really bad about my kid and I. and stated stuff like how their patients were so early yesterday and that they had a great day because everyone was early. Also said "we always say you have to be 15 minutes early to your appointment" I understand the wait for the doctor visiting us but the office staff was unnecessarily rude and I didn't deserve that disrespect read more

Honestly I don't know what to say. I am very disappointment int he passiveness of this office. The pediatricians I feel like are suppose to be your children's advocate. They are suppose to be their support system as well as the parents and I feel like if the parents are bringing up a concern multiple times their concerns shouldn't be dismissed and made to feel not important. This is how I feel every time I bring my son into the office. My son was born in December 2022 and from the first visit I never felt like anyone in the office was trying to make any type of connection with my son or with me. Everything was very rushed. I am a first time mom on top of that too and I never felt like I could ask questions and if I did ask questions the response was "oh it is normal". I continuously brought up the fact that my son was constantly spitting up, extremely gassy, not napping, etc. I was just told every single time that babies spit up and have gas so nothing out of the normal. I started to google and get other opinions because they didn't even want to treat him for reflux (which it ended up not being). I had to beg for them to give him something because the spit up was just excessive (def more than normal). I was told that once he started solids and purees it would stop. Well it didn't it almost got worse because now he was spitting up puree and formula and not spitting up right after eating it happened like hours afterwards. There was no reaction from him and he didn't seem like he was in distress almost like it wasn't making it to his stomach and just sitting there. A neighbor was the one who saw me struggling at the pool because the spit up was excessive and not stopping who suggested a tongue tie which had never been brought up to me at all as a possibility. I ended up calling the ENT we used for our older son and sure enough he immediately said not only does he have a tongue tie he also has a severe lip tie and a severe high palate. I am so furious about the situation not because a tie wasn't checked for but because it was not even mentioned as a possibility. With the ties and the high palate he is sucking in so much air. So as I thought it wasn't "normal". I wouldn't recommend going here but to be honest most pediatricians these days just don't seem to care they just need the claim to get paid and don't care about anything else. It is sad. Would not recommend them to anyone. read more

After several years of being seen, we are leaving. Terrible staff. if you show up within a few minutes before your appointment you are told you have to reschedule and are "late". You have to show up 20 minutes before your appointment to avoid this. After years of always being early, one time we show up a few minutes before appointment time with multiple children we were told we can't be seen. even with a phone call prior to appt! we weren't told anything over the phone, only when we arrive and were told they were SO BUSY yet the waiting room was completely empty. read more

We have been using Manassas Pediatrics for a total of 20 years now, mainly Dr. Anita Flower. As of today, we are transferring all of our accounts elsewhere and will Never recommend this office again. My son was involved in an accident and has major open wounds on his body that require repacking Every Single Day, needless to say, this is EXTREMELY painful. The office has refused to write a prescription for a pain reliever because "they don't typically see patients with the need". Are you kidding me?!? This is absolutely unacceptable! I never imagined this would come from an office we have been using for 20 years! read more

We typically see Dr. Flynn for well visits and love her. Today for a sick visit we saw Dr. G. He was equally as wonderful and thorough. He spent a lot of time with us, educating us about viruses and fevers. We have always gotten great care at this practice. read more

Great practice. Very accomodating for sick visits. Phone triage very helpful as your call is handled by someone knowledgeable. Nurses are superb. We adore Dr. Flynn and everyone we've seen for unscheduled visits has been great as well. (we go to Gainesville office). read more

I am very disappointed in this office practice. I took my daughter there as a new patient and was shocked to receive a $300 bill in the mail just for becoming a new patient! This didn't cover the other costs of my childs test, which I was fine with paying. This is also after the insurance adjustment. If you have multiple kids....each kid will cost $300 each. Do not make the same mistakes I did. Call and asks for all costs if you're looking into a new provider. read more

We moved recently and needed to transfer our kid's medical record. We signed the medical record release agreement twice and waited for four months, they still didn't transfer the record to our new pediatrician. Eventually, we had to drive back to Manassas to get it. I was furious when I read the medical record. I guess as parents we should not show concern about our kids because it only seems to bother those GREAT doctors. When your kid is suffering from Eczema and had red patches all over the body ( looks like ring worm!), you would think they would try to find out the reason and give them the right treatment. They only noted that the child was slightly red. I would recommend parents ( especially new parents) try to find a doctor who really care and willing to listen to you. read more

I take my four children here for their medical care, age range from 14-7, both boys and girls. I always find their doctors and staff to be courteous, knowledgeable, caring and efficient. I have seen and interacted with Dr. Flynn, Dr. Flowers, Dr. Ault and Dr. G. No unnecessary tests, no non-sense, and thorough. Thanks for your wonderful care of my family. read more

My family has been going to Manassas Pediatrics for years. I did not agree with a fee on my account. Instead of working with me for a resolution, they would prefer to lose my children as patients. I do not want to be at a pediatrician who cares so little for their patients. I have had to wait an hour and a half to see a doctor at this practice. I did not complain. I showed them grace. It is unfortunate they do not extend the same courtesy! I have also gone back multiple times with my children for the same illness. That means additional co-pays with each visit. With a large family, that does not work for me at all! read more

This practice has been the worst experience ever - unfortunately, had to switch my son's pediatrician when we were forced to get a different health insurance plan that his provider did not accept. I chose this practice based upon the fact they had a doctor on staff who was recognized among the top doctors in the DC area. Boy, was this a mistake. During our one office visit we did make, I was not impressed at all, no one we came across was particularly friendly or caring. And, a few months later, I started getting harassing phone calls for a $21 balance on our account. We live paycheck to paycheck and as I told the person who called, no, I did not get the statement and honestly we did not have the spare $21 to spend (for what, too??) yet they continued to harass me and call my phone repeatedly despite having been told I would take care of it when I could. Rude, uncaring, and for $21 the level of harassment I got from this office was absolutely ridiculous. Pulling my son out immediately and hoping to find a pediatrician's office where they focus on caring for the children, not harassing parents for $21. *FYI, girl who told me "you have to pay for a service" I am not an idiot, no s*** we pay for services received, but when your sons pediatrician starts calling your OFFICE to ask for $21 (after they've been paid for the visit by the insurance company AND received their copay upfront....) you get pretty annoyed when clearly they could have waited until the next time we came in to clear the balance as we did many times before with his (extremely excellent Crestwood Pediatrics Haymarket office) prior pediatrician. read more

I have 4 children that I have been bringing to this practice for nearly 5 years, and I am always very happy with the service we receive. My favorite doctors are Dr. Flynn and Dr. Ault, but everyone we have seen is great. I really like that they listen to the parents - I have always been able to have a conversation with the doctor or NP about what I think is going on with my kids as they are being examined. My teenager recently saw Dr. Ault for a concussion, and we talked for a while about options, ramifications, recovery, etc. I have been to pediatricians before who don't show care to the kids or parents, and this is definitely NOT one of those practices. One thing I really like is the doctors are relaxed and calm - maybe too calm for new parents who get freaked out over every little thing. For sick patients, they always have same-day appointments and usually more than one time slot to choose from. For physicals, you do have to schedule further in advance. I wouldn't think of switching my children to any other practice. read more

My family was visiting from out of town. Our 22 month old daughter was sick. We called to get an appointment and they said their policy is they do not see anyone for a one time visit. That tells us they only care about making money from repeat patients. I would never go there. Makes me wonder what sort of care you would receive from them if they only care about making money. The waiting room is filthy. Don't let your kids play in the little kid's nook with the TV. I'm pretty sure it's never been cleaned. There were dried boogers on the table that were still there month later at our next visit. As for the staff, everyone was fine except Nurse Sandy. She was unbelievably rude and unkind both times we saw her. She rolled her eyes at our questions and laughed at our ideas. When you have a sick baby, this is the last thing you need! Dr. Flynn is fantastic. We've been bringing our boys to her for more than eight years. She's kind, caring, and helpful. The entire practice was very understanding and helpful when we'd call their after-hours line for silly little first-time parenting issues. read more
