Now I understand why there was always a long line when they opened at their first location at Greenbelt. I was surprised that we did not have to wait to be seated.
This is now my go-to place for breakfast, since it is served all day. I also love that they have small to large serving options for lunch, merienda, and dinner.
We chose small serving options so that we would be able to try a few dishes. We tried their House Crispy Sisig, and we should have ordered a larger size. There's a reason why numerous Yelp reviews for their other locations talk highly about their sisig. It was definitely deliciously crispy.
I happen to love fried calamari, but I won't be ordering their Crunchy Salt and Pepper Squid. In my opinion, it lacked salt. Thankfully, it was served with a sauce, which made it taste better.
I'm usually a fan of Fresh Lumpiang Ubod. Next time, I'll try their Crispy Lumpiang Ubod. I enjoyed their fresh lumpia with all the sauce and garlic, but I guess I was hoping for the egg crepe like wrapper.
Numerous reviews wrote about their Mango Pomelo Sago Shake, and I totally understand why people wrote about it. Oh, my refreshing goodness! Don't leave this place without trying it. My husband enjoyed his Free Flowing Classic Iced Tea, since he likes unlimited refills.
The Namnam Halo Halo fell below my husband's expectations, which is probably why we saw people ordering their Buko Pandan with Macapuno Ice Cream. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed my Calamansi Tart with a thin layer of a hard candy-like shell similar to a creme brulee. If you like key lime pie and creme brulee, you'll love the Calamansi Tart.
We'll definitely be coming back to this restaurant. We'll be going here for breakfast. We also want to come back to try their Crispy Pancit Palabok. read more
