She was amazing. She planned and stayed within the budget. The venue she helped us pick was fantastic. All of the vendors she recommended were incredible. They were great at their job, dependable, easy to work and communicate with, and all around good people. They all worked very well together. We received hundreds of compliments and our guests had such a great time that no one wanted to leave at the end of the evening. Alyssa held my daughter's hand throughout the entire process, checked in with her, kept everything on track, understood her needs, and made this momentous occasion happen seamlessly. My daughter doesn't like to be the center of attention (her husband is a social butterfly) and Alyssa made sure to plan moments for her to step away and take a breath. At the end of the night she told us it was the best night of her life. If there were problems, we were not aware of them. Alyssa helped our family host a beautiful wedding and reception that we were proud of. Thanks to Calico Weddings, we were able to be fully present and celebrate this incredible occasion.

At the tasting, we'd thought the bacon wrapped dates were a little over cooked. Kathy was insistent on us providing feedback in a way that almost no other vendors (in any industry) do. This made it easy for us to ask them to cook this appetizer a little differently, and it was a huge hit at the wedding! They were not the cheapest vendor, but their price is competitive and worth a little extra for the quality, and they helped design our menu to work for our budget. Their crew on wedding day was absolutely lights out!! They of course did an awesome job with all the normal food stuff, but they were also extremely helpful in serving the dessert and late night pizza that we'd ordered from a different vendor. They also did a ton that I'd have thought the venue was responsible for, but they helped regardless. On top of all that, everything was perfectly organized on the day of. There were no issues that came up because they had thought of everything in advance, making for a less stressful day. I'm really hoping this is the only time I get married, so tough to say I'd use them again, but I'd highly recommend them and if doing a different event would certainly hire them.

I had a gut feeling I needed to tour Bella Sera. We had already toured more than a handful and I had it narrowed down. But for some reason, I just wasn't completely ready to commit to the ones I had thought I wanted originally. We met with John for our initial tour. And my husband and I instantly fell in love with the venue. I don't know what it was. But it met all our needs. And what really sold us was that it was all inclusive and we didn't have to worry about decor or setting up. From every meeting from initial meeting to our final meeting. Everyone who we met with was so kind and helpful. I had so much fun at our design meeting where we got to pick the decor and table centers. We had a few decorations to add and we dropped them off at our rehearsal so the event team could set it up for us. When it came to the day of our wedding, everything looked so beautiful. I was so happy to see how beautifully everything came together. I was definitely one happy bride. The evening went so smoothly! And I have ZERO complaints. Such a beautiful wedding. And I am so happy last minute, we decided to tour Bella Sera. I highly recommend them for your wedding. They honestly made the wedding planning process so easy!

Personality - An extremely kind and friendly professional, Jennie will literally climb a mountain or tree to get the best angle for a picture of you. She is a dedicated person who is an absolute delight to interact with. Responsive and thorough, she is an ideal vendor. Pricing - Jennie has levels of pricing that can accommodate anyone. We had originally booked her longest package for 10 hours of shots and an assistant. The wedding was thrown off by COVID-19 and she was extremely flexible and thoughtful in letting us switch to a new 3 hour schedule. She charged us no fee and sent us a new contract right away. Her flexibility saved us tons of stress during a very difficult time. We wanted her there no matter what! Quality - During the ceremony, I (the bride) broke out into serious hives that were clearly visible from my neck and down my arms. I was devastated that all the photos would clearly show my stress from the day. Not on Jennie's watch! She spent WEEKS meticulously taking off every hive from those photos and making me seem flawless that day. I couldn't believe it and cried with relief when we got the photos. All the photos were so flattering and had gorgeous lighting. Her photo cues and set ups are fantastic. She truly celebrates all kinds of love and is an open and loving individual. I wish I could thank her more for the beautiful memories she gave us. With her, we forgot about the change wedding, the pandemic, and the logistical issues of the day and she didn't need to tell us to smile big (we felt it already)! Thank you, Jennie - we adore you!

She is absolutely amazing, both as a photographer and a person! My now-husband and I were both super nervous to get our pictures taken - we were worried we would be awkward and too posed. For both our engagement and wedding photos, Jennie did a great job making us feel comfortable. She gave us wonderful prompts to help us interact while she was photographing so the photos felt natural, fun, and so meaningful. At the wedding, not only was she IMMENSELY helpful when we were making last-minute decisions about the rain, but also very kind, supportive, and calm throughout the night. I've heard so many great things from friends and family about how much they enjoyed interacting with Jennie at the wedding, and the photos she took capture exactly our vibe and special moments from the wedding. She was detailed while going through our list of posed family photos, and also made a point to photograph our guests interacting. We loved our experience with Jennie and would recommend her to anyone looking for stunning wedding/engagement photos. Thank you, Jennie!

She even helped us decide how to serve and display the food. Erica was so much fun to talk and plan with. She was super professional, yet felt like a great friend. She continued to support us through our entire planning process and contributed wonderful ideas surrounding the food, drink, and schedule of our day. We felt like she was very knowledgeable. The day of our reception, all of the three leaf staff were wonderful. They were all on time and right to work. They were all friendly and seemed genuinely happy for our celebration. They were never in the way and were helpful with any request. We had a complex serving plan with a buffet and scramble station so our guests had to fill out cards to pick what they wanted on their scramble. This was so much fun and felt very unique. The catering staff helped move this process along, and although it took some extra time, they made sure everyone was fed and happy. They displayed all of our food wonderfully and kept everything looking great. The food itself was wonderful! One of our dishes was a little less tasty than when we had tasted it, but everything else was great and we received a lot of complements. We highly recommend the chocolate bourbon pecan pie!
