Absolutely the best!! I wish all businesses modeled themselves after Man vs Treez. Throughout the entire process (estimate to clean-up) I found myself saying "This has been so easy," and "What an awesome company." We had several trees in our backyard that were full of dead wood and growing into the power lines. We were given several estimates and Man vs. Treez provided the fairest estimate and said they could start in a couple of days. Well here we are....2 days later and all of the trees that we wanted removed have been removed and the clean-up was amazing. We had only planned to remove one tree, an old Box Elder, but when we saw how good of a job Man vs. Treez was doing, we asked if they didn't mind removing several other trees. Once again, an extremely fair estimate was provided, and we accepted. All of the communication was incredible and the service they provided was professional and completed in a timely manner. It is so hard to find good customer service these days, and Man vs Treez knocked it out of the park. They left our backyard in a condition that was better than when they started. Daniel came out to give quote, we agreed on price and date, the day he was to come at 8am he did not show I called at 830 he said truck not starting, he made it sound like it would not be long and he never called back, I sent a message no response, the reviews were good so I agreed to have him come the following week and again no call no show! Xcel came out and cut off the tops of my spruce trees, which resulted in two dead spruce trees. I was worried about them becoming brittle and likely to fall over, so I needed to get them removed. I contacted Man vs Treez via Yelp, and they came to the house for an estimate and sent me a "quick quote" via text. Excellent. I hate picking up the phone. The quote was significantly lower than other tree removal companies that came out to quote. The speed at which they were able to come out and give me an estimate as well as the price made me decide to have Man Vs Treez do the job. A week later (today) the dynamic duo of Bill and Eric came to cut the trees and haul away all the tree debris. They were in and out in less than two hours and they left my yard looking better than before they showed up. I had been pruning branches from other trees so there were some smaller twig/branches in the yard. Those branches weren't technically part of what they had to clean up, but they swept those into the pile and removed them as well. They worked efficiently and quickly. After everything was done, Bill gave the yard a second walk through and asked "Is there anything else that you need cleaned up?" Everything looked great, but I appreciated that he would go the extra mile to make sure he didn't miss anything. When you look at the "after" picture, you'll see some of my landscaping stones are knocked over. Bill was going to put them back, but I asked him not to. I have to move them all to reseat them, so there was no reason to put them back in place. He REALLY wanted to though, saying "We always make sure the yard looks as it did before we got here". Our neighbor behind us was having a tree removed. I talked to them about our tree needing trimmed. One of the 2 guys suggested I leave a message, which I did...with Daniel. The guy said they live right up the street, and while they were there could probably just trim our tree as well since our neighbor had our tree trimmed on her side of the fence? Daniel with Man vs tree did a great job on our maple trees and with the removal of a tree. The tree that needed to be removed was practically laying on my neighbors roof and growing the wrong direction, it had to go. Our large maple trees were getting too close to the house, hung over the driveway and had very low hanging heavy branches. They raised everything up, removed the damaged or brittle areas and left the tree healthy and beautiful. Not only were they knowledgeable, competitively priced and professional but they were very nice guys. (He is also licensed and insured!) Today our 50ft Russian Olive tree fell over in our yard onto our fence. It was also partly over a road. On a Sunday I was having a difficult time finding anyone open or available. I called Man Vs Treez and Daniel answered promptly and friendly. He had me send pictures of our tree then he gave me an estimate and time he could be over! Found these guys on Yelp and read all of the reviews. They came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate to remove three trees that were ravaged with Fireblight. Boy are we glad we hired them! They did an excellent job!! We can't even tell that there were trees where they removed them. They also cleaned everything up perfectly. We had a huge snow storm come through the week that Daniel was supposed to come by. When the snow storm came through, Daniel could not cut my tree, but he followed up every week with when he thought he could get it done. Daniel was one of the most honest and professional people I have ever met. I had a giant weeping mulberry in my front yard and when Daniel was cutting it up, it created a huge mess in the street, sidewalk, and my yard. Wow! Can't say enough about this company. I will keep it short and sweet here by saying the following: 1. They responded promptly to my inquiry regarding tree removal, and were courteous and obviously knowledgeable. 2. They set a mutually-convenient day for an estimate, and showed up on time (I know, here in Denver the bar is low on this one). They provided an estimate that was in line with my expectations and when I approved the estimate, we set a date for the work to be done. 3. On the scheduled date, Dan and his helper showed up on time. They were courteous (they even knocked on our neighbor's door to make sure they could block part of the alley) and they began work immediately. They worked pretty much all day, and did exactly what they said they would do. They also were meticulous, cleaning the stump areas, the driveway, lawn and alley, to the point where, the next day, you'd be hard-pressed to know any contractor did work in the yard. Completely rude and unprofessional. They show up late, completely unprepared for the job. Employees seem unfamiliar and and untrained with the process and equipment. When I asked questions I was given extremely rude and disrespectful response. I believe at least one or 2 employees were drunk on arrival. I had kids nearby and asked them to not use foul language and was laughed at and cursed at. The job was done poorly and they wanted more money than agreed upon. When they left they had damaged my property and left trash and cigarette butts all around the area they worked. I called the owner to inform him of this and was cursed at and hung up on. read more
