While Hat Creek may not be trying to compete with gourmet burger restaurants, it delivers a quality product in a casual and family-friendly environment. One of Hat Creek's biggest strengths is its outdoor play area. The restaurant clearly caters to families with young children, and the play space gives parents a chance to relax while the kids burn off some energy. It's a feature that sets Hat Creek apart from many other burger restaurants. Overall, I get the sense that management genuinely wants to provide a good customer experience. My advice would be to continue investing in employees because great team members are what ultimately create the experience customers remember. They take the order again- 1. cheese, lettuce & tomatoes 2. Cheese and lettuce. They do a very nice job on the re-cook, but burger 2 still has tomatoes and not lettuce. Show the kitchen manager the original receipt, and he takes the burger back, removes the tomatoes, and adds lettuce. This takes off 1/3 of the cheese.
