Dr Kozinski came in the middle of the night to do an angiogram that confirmed a SCAD. I was moved to the Cardiac ICU where the entire team was wonderful. While I can't remember the name of the great nighttime nurse (sorry!), daytime Nurse Mary and NP Jackie were caring and super informative. I've forgotten so many names, but I want to mention that the young man who put in my second IV line (the first was at a clinic) did it painlessly. Also, the professional who did my echocardiogram was excellent, and the staff member who took my food orders was so considerate and helpful. Everyone was so welcoming and respectful to me, my same-sex spouse, and my sister. Their care and treatment were exemplary. I was able to be discharged after only one night in the CICU. THANK YOU, PEACE HEALTH!!

Let me be very clear: I've been severely ill for over four years, critically ill for the past 10 months, and I am now extremely depressed and suicidal. I told this provider, plainly: "I don't want to live like this anymore." That's not drama. That's my reality. Instead of compassion or concern, she responded with ego and condescension. She acted annoyed by my pain, said I was being rude, and shut down the appointment in less than five minutes. No support. No care. No help. Just dismissal and abandonment. This wasn't a one-off. On a previous visit, she showed zero interest in my complex condition--focused only on my lorazepam prescription--and today she confirmed what I feared: she simply doesn't care. I'm a 100% disabled combat veteran with PTSD, and I was suicidal during that visit. That should have triggered immediate action. Instead, I was treated like a nuisance. To prove my point, she sent the police to my house ¨to check on my well-being¨shortly after leaving the office, an obvious ¨cover-your-ass¨move, not done out of concern or compassion, and further substantiating my account. I filed complaints with Legacy, Medicare, Tricare, and the Washington State Board of Nursing, and I will be disputing any charges for this so-called "appointment." Billing for five minutes of cruelty is not just unethical--it's fraud. Legacy Health completely ignored my complaint and the Washington State Board of Nursing protected their own, go figure, rather than addressing the matter, stating that my complaint was ¨baseless¨, having never contacted me once for clarification. Then, to add insult to injury, I received a registered letter (see photo) accusing me of being "threatening.", a blatant, disgusting fabrication to cover for their shameful behavior. Disgusting human beings, unprofessional behavior ... shame on you! NEXT STEP: Filing a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights. YOU CAN'T DO THAT - complaint filed 6/14/2025. I also filed a MEDICARE FRAUD complaint after Legacy had the balls to bill me for their providers extremely unprofessional behavior. Legacy Health, you failed me--and every veteran who walks through your doors. Your motto should be: "Do no harm ... unless it's a suicidal veteran.¨ CombatCritic gives Legacy Medical Group - Camas 0 Bombs Out Of 10 ... and a permanent place on my WALL OF SHAME™ ... I did still have to wait about 20 mins before I was called back to a room. Then waited 10-15 mins before seeing a doctor. To me, that seems reasonable -- I was a walk-in. The environment is clean, calm, orderly, welcoming. Bathrooms in hallways are kept very clean. Seating areas are kept very clean. Dr. Erik Andru Martin is who took care of me that day. I was very impressed with him stopping in to apologize for the long wait & checking to see what my specific needs were before needing to leave to complete other patient care. When he returned, he was a good listener, asked good questions, he didn't seem to be rushing at all. I appreciated that he heard what I've tried in the past to deal with a lingering cough & he didn't try to insist on one method to help -- he gave several suggestions. I also appreciated that while he did prescribe a medication -- he also gave suggestions of some very practical ways to address the cough at home. Thank you Dr. Martin for your excellent care.

These clinics, we've been to three in the Vancouver area, are welcoming and have a calming vibe when you enter the building. There's water features which give it a more spa-like feel versus clinical. They use MyChart for patient information, including scheduling appointments, lab results, filling out forms prior to appointments and checking in online to make the waiting time shorter. Overall we're both happy with this location. They have a large parking lot and plenty of hand sanitizer stations throughout the building. Would highly recommend!

I spoke with a nurse within two minutes of arrival and felt she asked perfect questions for my situation. She ordered labs and I had my lab draws completed within 15 minutes. When I return to urgent care to wait, I started to get test results on my Kaiser app., which I thought was pretty cool. There was a fairly long, wait, approximately 45 minutes, to meet with the caregiver who took my vitals. And then the l o n g weight began. I sat for more than two hours with no further update, before I was finally called back. There was what I felt was a fairly long additional wait (20+ minutes) once I was in a room, to see the doctor. The care I received was quality and I appreciated the labs being completed so quickly. The long waits were challenging, being that I was just a week post-op and found it challenging to find comfort, but again want to emphasize that despite the long time investment, the care was appropriate and staff demonstrated empathy.

During the appointment, I felt undermined about the pain I was experiencing. She was overall pretty mean and made me feel pretty insecure even though the Urgent care doctor I had seen a few weeks ago told me to schedule an appointment with a provider so I can get a referral, but she didn't seem to agree with that despite me explaining how my condition was affecting my work. She gave me the referral and I made a small comment about being disappointed about how long the referral was out for as I was hoping to get this situated sooner before my trip and she made a rude comment towards me, I cannot recall what she said exactly but she said something along the lines of "It's not killing me" I usually have a good time at Kaiser but I was very shocked to experience this from a provider who I just met and isn't my usual doctor. I understand people have bad days but you should not be taking it out on patients.
