I went the same day (since I lived far) to avoid another trip. After they received results, they notify me that they had forgotten to list 1 other bloodwork test on the script. ("Which that test was needed for the reason I had gone there.") So I had to go back to the clinic for more blood work again and I do not like needles. Was disappointed after such a good experience with the Dr visit. I understand mistakes can happen but you don't expect them at a Dr's visit. Disheartening but I would go back and give them another chance based on the Dr and overall attention experienced.

When I explained that I had called in advance and was explicitly told otherwise, the response I received was shockingly dismissive and condescending: "It doesn't matter," followed by, "You owe this amount, and we don't negotiate." No one should be treated this way, especially when they're already dealing with health concerns. The lack of accountability, compassion, and professionalism was incredibly disappointing. Be sure to verify everything yourself before receiving care--I felt this was a classic bait-and-switch experience.

I've been treated courteously by all the staff here. I've never had a long wait while waiting for my PCP. I can say without hesitation that my concerns have been dealt with quickly and very professionally. The physician is thorough and works in a very timely manner aware of my time and hers, she is an excellent physician in my opinion.

Those of us that frequent these types of clinics should know this by now. If you want warmth and cozy place where doctors take pride in the quality of their services, you don't go to this kind of clinic. The major problem that I had was with the provider that I saw, Dr. Heather Bergstrom. I scheduled an appointment with her based on a recommendation from a really good doctor. Dr. Heather Bergstrom however, is not the same caliber of physician by far. I came to see her to get a prescription for anxiety medication. She saw me for 15 minutes, and 10 of those minutes she spent talking to me about my weight and trying to sell me a new fad diet and cholesterol medicine. I'm 25 years old, active, and all of my vitals are well within the margins for me to be considered healthy. I'm used to being up sold at the MAC counter, but not by my doctor. I am overweight, and I've never pretended otherwise. But the problem here, is that I let her know that my weight fluctuates with my anxiety, and she didn't even acknowledge that I had said that. She then proceeded to make it very clear that touching me disgusted her during her exam, and shuffled out of the door as fast as she could. The cherry on top was that she did not write my prescription correctly, and I ended up having to pay twice as much as I should have had to as a result. In short, Dr. Heather Bergstrom is an unfeeling, short-sided, inexperienced doctor who really needs to look outside of her own self, and learn to listen. I'm fine with doctors mentioning my weight. I'm overweight, that's just a fact. But it's not an excuse to treat me like I'm ignorant, or somehow less deserving of being heard and treated fairly. This is an all-to common phenomenon with doctors, and I'm sad that Peacehealth fosters this kind of an environment. No one should have to worry about being bullied by the person who took and oath to be a healer, and takes money in exchange for those services.

I talked with patient no advocate and was told everything was my fault, my fault the doctor retired, my fault a insulin dependent diabetic couldn't request scripts, my fault I wasn't automatically reassigned a new doctor, I would give a return call if they would just leave who to call and what the call is for (calling a switch board that doesn't know the reason for the call isn't productive)

If I didn't have a PCP, I would absolutely visit him for everything, based on his calm, professional demeanor. Very recommended for anyone who unsure of using a fly-by-night, last minute healthcare provider. People like him give credit to ZoomCare, and the healthcare industry in general, at a time when people have begun to (rightfully) question our broken, predatory system. Over a year working with PTs, chiros to try and fix, along with strength, hydrotherapy, and every other therapy out there. I am falling in the middle of the street, I can't make it up stairs, I'm getting 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night. The left knee has a history of the bilateral hip replacements, and the 3rd degree sprain on the same leg/side, my surgeon wants an MRI, Molina denied it stating that there is no record of trying to do anything else before the MRI to fix the problem. I've been working with my coworkers (chiros, PTs, and doctors) for a YEAR to fix the problem. They sent in a 6 page contemporaneous record of the entire history complete with diagnoses codes, and treatment codes and I have no way to check and see if they got them. I am in abject pain. They have ZERO customer service phone numbers (in spite of saying online they do) to check on the status of appeals (which I totally did with a $57 overnight of chart notes, xrays, and statements of doctors.) I. have. no. recourse. They. Are. Criminal. I am calling my lawyer.

My doctor immediately filed an appeal. While I was talking with the appeals department she said "oh we reversed our decision". I have surgery coming up and I'm getting different information from different people at Molina. The most recent is a pre authorization is not needed with the CPT codes. I asked 4 different people for a written statement on Molina Healthcare letterhead stating a pre authorization is not necessary. 3 out of the 4 freaked the f*^k out! Oh No! We cannot do that. The 4th did not return my call. Their denial of sending me that document tells me one thing...this company just might deny coverage AFTER the tumor is excised due to no pre authorization.
