After having steak at Peter Luger's in our NYC trip, my husband and I needed to find a similar dining experience back home... once you have steak the way they serve it at Peter Luger's, you don't have steak in any other way! Seriously.
Thankfully, we have Mamou 3.0! This is the branch we have been going to and we go here about once a month to get our steak fix. Aside for their famed dry aged steaks, our other favorites include Lorenzo's truffle pasta, Dry Aged Burger, Lamb Chops, and Wawa's Prime Rib. For the sides, try the Steak Rice, Mamou's Bacon Steaks, and Cinnamon Saba. On weekends, go for their Brunch Menu! Order Rau's Platter or Pappy's Toast.
The servers are attentive and very friendly. I celebrated my birthday here and I really, really don't like it when the staff sings for the celebrant... However, my husband still told the servers to sing for me. They were good sports even though they saw my shocked and angry face. I was gifted with 2 slices of dessert. Haha!
I recommend that you make reservations especially if you plan to have dinner here. Mamou 3.0 is almost always full and I don't mind waiting in line for delicious steak! read more
