And the bill to save this machine from the junkyard was also a pleasant surprise! You can visit his shop at E5 E7 Commerce Street, Mammoth Lakes California 93546.

This is especially important for second home owners who are not always at home. We have had issues in prior years with plows leaving alot of snow on the driveway inside the stake but this was not an issue with Nick. We had a small issue with our garage door but Nick was awesome in how he took care of it.

Nick's snow removal service is among the best in town. I have had several companies over the years…read moreand got a mixed bag of results. Some made claims that were simply not met. One worked to the point of exhaustion and then retirement. In one case, I was on the wait list for several years. Now that I have Nick+co I make sure to be a 'good customer' so I can remain on his route. Nick and his crew have a really good understanding of what people need whether it is early plowing to get to a job or special needs like a particular shaped driveway and they are efficient, really skilled and very reliable. On particularly heavy snow days, they come back and make it possible to get in/out and allow you to get on with your day, even if that is just hours more of shoveling. I feel lucky to be on his route- I never have to complain like many of my friends do. He is great and in addition, he is very nice.

Our rental property stove stopped working about a week before I contacted AOM (Appliances of…read moreMammoth) to get some pricing for a new electric stove. AMO was one of 3 appliance companies in the area that I contacted, they were the only one that took the time to communicate and get me the information I needed before making a purchase. From the first conversation with Kat, I felt as though I was in good hands. She did not hesitate to get me pricing and send me photos and specs of each stove that was available for what I needed. Once the decision and payment was made, AMO scheduling dept. (Randy) was able to accommodate my schedule since I do not live in the area. The delivery crew was polite and respectful and were able to remove the old stove, deliver and install the new stove with no issues. If you are in need of a new appliance, or repairs on existing appliances in the area of Mammoth Lakes, Ca, don't hesitate to contact AMO.

After calling just about every service provider in the area, I found most places were very slow to respond--and many won't return a call at all. Apparently demand outpaces supply in this area, and it really shows. Jake at Baldwin was the first person to get back to me. He took a lot of time to truly understand the project, and I never felt rushed even though I'm sure everyone at Baldwin was quite busy. By the time even our first call was over, I had a far great understanding of what was needed in terms of the technical requirements of the hardware (heater models, wiring, etc), the installation itself, and the overall process (estimate, install, inspection, etc.). As a result, I was much more confident about the next steps and we followed up from there. Jake's response showed an impressive level of professionalism. I greatly appreciated hist effort to understand and communicate with me about the project. It speaks very highly of Baldwin as a company.

I highly recommend Bill's Appliance and would call them first in the future. I worked in Information Technology for almost 40 years; people always ask me to fix their computers. While all computers are basically the same, they all have their idiosyncrasies. Sometimes it's difficult to determine the problem and it's always difficult to tell someone the bad news if the problem is significant. Two very polite and professional men arrived to diagnose the problem which I appreciate. One person supplied the tools to the other so that one person wasn't constantly getting up and down; made the job go more quickly. In my case, the problem was not simple to find and it was good that there were two technicians who could discuss possibilities. My dryer indicator lights suggested it was good to go, but would not start. The technicians methodically checked and tested each of the components from the most common issue to the less common. The common issues tested fine. When they went to test the control module, the on-board diagnostics would not work. They could have stopped there and said the control module was bad (this would have been easy for them and expensive for me), but instead they took the time to actually get to and inspect the control module. There was nothing obviously wrong with it (no leaky capacitors or burn marks). They reassembled the unit and I was prepared for them to tell me they would have to order a new module, but they gave the dryer one more test and it worked fine... there must have been some kind of a bad connection on the module. Regardless of the outcome, these folks did terrific, trustworthy work and I was glad I called them.
